After school, Brent drove us to the pack house and I decided to take my mind off of Tyler with a movie.

"Brent can we go see a movie?"

"Anything you want darling!"

"You're too cute for your own good."

I pinched his cheeks shaking them a little.

"I'm too cute, just for a girl who happens to be beautifully gorgeous!"

I blushed bright red. He thought I was beautifully gorgeous.

We ended up watching Hotel Transylvania. Childish and unromantic? Yes but it is still an awesome movie, you cannot deny how adorable it is.

We were at the end of the movie when I was still cuddled in next to him with his arm around my shoulder.

"Katy?"

"Yeah?"

"I-I... I-I ... " He took a deep breath, "I-I... Never mind." He gave up with a sigh.

"What is it Brent?"

To see him stuttering like that really got me interested in what he had to say.

I got up and sat on his lap while linking my arms around his neck.

"Brent, what is it?"

"Katy, I Brent Harrison, really really really really... Love you and want to start with the mating process.". He said squeezing his eyes closed on the last sentence. He then rambled on doubting himself on me wanting him, "I know that it's only been a couple weeks but when I heard you tried to fix things with Tyler and he rejected you, I just felt so angry because you're such a beautiful girl who's mind blowing incredible and I get it if you don't want to start now, I mean it hasn't been long but still I feel so lucky to have found you---"

I cut him off by smashing my lips to his. He's shocked at first but recovers fast by deepening the kiss and licking my bottom lip for entrance which I happily granted.

What goes on to be a make out session then becomes a grinding session when I began to feel his little friend poke at my thigh. I begin to rock back and forth with me still sitting on top of him still fully clothed.

Intensity starts to get on a real high before we hear a really loud growl that comes from outside the door in the hallway. In the next moment, I'm being thrown behind a wall of muscle that pins Brent onto the wall.

"TYLER! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING LET HIM GO!" I scream tugging on his arms.

"So you're trying to put moves on my mate huh? DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THAT FUCKING HURTS?" Tyler yells, pushing Brent further into the wall making a dent in it.

"Who are you to say what hurts and doesn't hurt when we were barely getting to the part that could cause you real pain. Now you know only a fraction of what Katy felt those couple weeks" Brent said surprisingly calm, but with eyes that challenged Tyler, luring him for a fight.

They went into a stare down and Brent wasn't backing down. After a minute I could feel the alpha aura coming off of Tyler in extraordinarily strong waves. There was no way that Brent could accept the alpha challenge as he is not one himself so I tried to pull him away from Tyler before he really got hurt. I reached out for his arm, but the second I touched him I pulled my arm back as Brent himself sent an alpha aura that had me shrinking away.

I didn't get it. Only alpha's have that kind of power, how did Brent do it. There's no way that Tyler didn't know about it either I mean come on their in a freaking fight and Tyler can't feel it? What the hell am I missing and what is going on?

Questions are pushed through my mind as I feel hands wrap around arm and pull me out of the room. I turn around to see who it is and find Jace.

"Jace, did you see that?"

"I did sweet cheeks, and unfortunately I know about it too... Don't you know too? Neither of them told you?"

"What do you mean?"

"You know, why they hate each other."

I thought about it for a moment. The only thing they have in common are that they've had a relationship with Leah as Tyler is currently in it. Also as I've just found out is that Brent IS A FREAKING ALPHA.

Putting those two together...

"Oh my god, does Tyler think that Brent is gonna steal Leah away from him? I mean that would make sense."

Jace laughed at me as I glared at him.

No funny bunny, not Leah. Here I'll give you a hint, the only person who can cause the alpha excruciating pain with the alpha's mate rule is..."

"HIS MATE!! That means me. Wait but I didn't even do anything with Brent... Yet that is. Therefore there's no way Tyler could've felt anything... Yet, that is."

"Oh funny bunny you amuse me."

"Oh shut up and just tell me". I said rolling my eyes.

"As alpha your senses are heightened as you know, and with the alpha's mate rule he can't mate with anyone other than you to become full alpha, therefore he can sense anything that's gonna be sexual, and it's pretty bad."

"But what about Brent. Apparently he's an alpha as I was never told but what about him, he doesn't have a mate."

"He's lucky, he gets to choose his mate as he is a hybrid. But after he fully mates with who he wants, the connection between him and who he chooses will then form into a regular bond between a wolf and his mate just like the rest of us."

That made a lot of sense. Wait, one more thing unexplained.

"And how on earth do you know all of this? Last time I was told, only alpha's know about this."

"We'll I guess you could say I am an alpha"

I'm pretty sure my jaw hit the floor.

"Oh sweet cheeks don't look that surprised. With my good looks, what did you expect? Furthermore may I introduce myself, Jace Gabe Lockhart, future alpha of the White Moon pack!"
