"You didn't know" I croak.

Tyler's face grows hard as he then grabs my wrist and pulls me out of the kitchen and away from Jace. I mouth him a goodbye and he mouths me a good luck before Tyler and I disappear out the door.

As I get dragged by Tyler, I feel the sparks running from my wrist to the the rest of my body. My wolf screams "MATE, NOW". I tell her no but she won't listen. Sometimes I wish I could see my wolf face to face and just punch some freaking sense into her.

'But you know you would just be hurting yourself. Like what would you be without me?' she says

'Oh shut up wolfy'

'Quit talking to yourself' I catch onto the double meaning.

I internally groan as I push her all the way to the back of my mind as I concentrate more on the fact that Tyler is dragging me somewhere.

I try to get out of his grip as I try to pull my hand away from him but he keeps his hold on me like iron fists. Damn this stupid future Alpha strength.

"It's no use trying to get away from me now."

"Well it didn't seem so hard back at lunch. What, did you change your mind?"

"Hell no, did you change your face to look like Leah's yet?"

That hurt. Fine if he's gonna be such a jackass then I'm done here. He may be the stronger one between us, but no one is more stubborn then me. Cooperation will not be seen from me as long as Tyler's being a jackass.

But of course that all changes when we burst into the Alpha's office, disturbing Alpha Daniels from his work. Just my luck.

My wolf and I get nervous as it is disrespectful to bother the Alpha like this. But that's the less nerve wracking reason. The big one is because the last time I was here, it was to receive condolences for my family right after the funeral. It was here, where the shy and quiet girl was born and the bubbley loud one decided to make rare appearances.

The alpha looks up as I bow my head in respect.

"Hello son, I see you have a friend here. You are Katy right?"

"Yes that's me." I mumble.

"How are you doing, you holding up okay?" I see his concerned eyes, and I know he remembers.

"Yeah, I'm doing great. Amy and her family have been wonderful." I say as I cast my eyes down to the floor thinking about my family and what we could be doing now.

"That's good." Alpha Daniels says as he begins to change the subject.

"Now son, what is it that you wanted."

"Dad, I know you're not gonna like this but I'm still gonna come clean. I know you said that I should never ever reject my mate when I find her and that I should cherish her like the moon. Problem is, is that our relationship isn't gonna work out. You see I found my mate today and I rejected her. By a miracle she feels mutual so she accepted and-"

"Stop... YOU REJECTED YOUR MATE?!?!"

Alpha Daniels looked like a whole pack of rogues just entered his territory. I guess Tyler really didn't know about the Alpha's mate rule yet. That's a shame.

"She felt the same way, anyways I have girlfriend who's ready to take her place. She will be a better Luna than my real mate will ever be."

That really hurt. I'm standing right next to him and he dares to talk me down right there.
