Authors Note: The following are letters that were exchanged between Draco and Harry over the summer.

Dear Harry,
I understand how your feeling, my parents are always breathing down my neck. I would have never guessed how abusive your Aunt and Uncle are, I'm sorry. I think the only thing I look forward to every day is your letter. I'm trapped in my parents catastrophic life and the only possible way to stay sane is to answer to their every command. Their so drunk on Voldemort's power that they would rather put me at risk than keep me safe. I don't want to be like them, for once I wish I was on the "good" side. Ah, sorry I'm rambling on about my god awful family. How are you doing Harry? Last time we wrote you mentioned you were worried your Aunt and Uncle we're going to kick you out? Where would you go if they did?

Dear Draco,
I'm sorry that your parents are making you do awful things. I know you don't quite fancy Dumbledore, but if it comes to it ask him for help. I promise you, he wouldn't judge you- in fact he probably will understand you. I know that apart of you was always good and that your "bad boy" act was something you've hidden behind since you were a young boy. I've done the same thing, all of Hogwarts thinks I'm this noble brave boy when in reality I just wish I could be normal and not have to worry whether or not more people will be put in danger because of me. I miss Sirius, he was my only chance at having a real family.
To answer your first question on how I'm doing, well to be honest I'm scared. I'm scared because The Dark Lord is back and he wants me dead. I'm scared because everyone expects me to know what to do. Now it's me rambling. I wish you were here with me... Holding me. For your second question, I would go to the Weasley's,
They've always treated me like family. It feels like home their.

Harry couldn't sleep that night when he got back from his adventure with Draco. He had brought all of his letters with him to school, he knew it was dangerous for someone to potentially to find them but he loved reading them. During the middle of reading one of them he heard a sleepy voice whisper to him.

"Harry? What time is it? What are you reading?" Ron whispered while rubbing his eyes awake.

"Letters from Sirius." He lied. "I couldn't sleep." He whispered while putting the letters back under his pillow.

Harry hated lying to Ron, he so badly wanted to tell him about his secret relationship with Draco but feared he would disown him for it.
