It was a calming Saturday morning, and Harry was in the common room reading old letters from Draco. He skimmed every page slowly and reread every letter at least twice. His feelings for Draco were growing stronger every single day. He found himself completely in love with him, his only wish was for Draco to leave the dark side and come to his side. Draco deserved so much more than what was being offered to him. There came a point in Draco's life where money and fine things didn't matter to him - all he wanted was a small quiet life with the one he loved - Harry. But of course, deep down in Draco's heart, he knew there would be no chance what so ever of that happening. Draco feared that one day, this would all be over. He feared that Harry would be fed up with him and want nothing to do with him, unfortunately that day might have been approaching a lot sooner. Draco's was almost done repairing the vanishing cabinet, and The Dark Lord had been on his case every single day. Draco was feeling lost, like he had no one to talk to - he couldn't talk to Harry because he knew that Harry would never be able to forgive him if he were to find out what he had been up to. He decided to avoid Harry, as hard as that may be- needed to avoid at least until he could think clearly again, seeing Harry's face would only make things harder for him.

It was breakfast time, and Draco had decided sitting facing away from Harry, which was unusual for him. They loved glancing at one another during meals, seeing if they could make one another smile first, it was there little game they loved to play and on this morning, Harry knew something was wrong when he couldn't see Draco's face.

"Are you and lover boy having a fight?" Ron joked as he was stuffing donuts in his mouth, he rarely talked about Draco, it was still a uneasy subject for him.

"No, well I don't think so."Harry played it off, as far as he was concerned- him and Draco were fine.

"I'm sure his usually seat was taken before he arrived- you two are worse than teenage girls, over thinking everything." Hermione rolled her eyes, as if she hadn't heard enough boy talk from her girlfriends, but now her guy friends as well.

"Yeah, your probably right." Harry was putting bacon on his plate, trying to push Draco out of his mind.

"Now if you two don't mind, I need to head off to the library." Hermione finished her tea, and made her way to study for the day.

Harry decided he needed some fresh air, which Ron assumed meant he was off to meet up with Draco in some hidden places around the castle. Ron didn't want to admit it, but he missed his best-friend lately. Harry and Draco's favorite place to meet was on the outskirts of the forbidden forest, Harry was sure Dumbledore knew they met there because they have been yet to be caught. Harry was sitting on a old tree stump when he heard foot steps behind him, his heart started to flutter and suddenly he felt sane again.

"I didn't think you were going to come. I've missed you Draco."He said out loud, without turning around.

Harry wondered why Draco didn't respond right away, so he decided to look over his shoulder. Much to his surprise, Draco was not standing there. In fact, it was much worse than he ever imagined. Lucius Malfoy was mere inches away from Harry Potter, no one would be able to hear Harry scream or yell for help, which is exactly what Lucius wanted.

"I was wondering why my son had been acting, odd lately." He walked closer to Harry. "And so I went through his room, and after looking for two days - I found these." He held up a few letters for Harry to see. "Hidden beneath the wooden floors in his room."

Harry's mouth was dry, his heart was beating rapidly and all his brain was telling him to do was run. But he knew better, Lucius was a coward and would pull his wand out- so he jumped one step ahead of him. He slowly reached into his pocket and reached for his wand. Lucius noticed, and he quickly lunged towards Harry, making him fall to ground and hit his head on a the tree stump. Like a coward, Lucius towered over Harry and began to kick him. Hit after hit, Harry soon saw nothing but black.
