The bird stared intently at the boy. It sung to him, a happy beautiful aria.
Once again, a warm thought entered the boys mind, like a seed being planted. But once again, he shoved the feeling away before it could take root in his mind.
The warmth was immediately choked by the thorny vines of jealousy and anger. The boy screamed at the bird. And told it to go away.
The bird stopped its beautiful singing and stared at the boy. It tilted its head, almost questioningly.
The boy continued to scream obscenities and threats at the bird, louder and louder. The dove stretched its wings and took off. The dove spoke as it flew away.
"Lonely imprisonment remains your fate, until we meet again."
The boys heart froze. He reckognized the voice: The Great Fairy.
