After what happened earlier today, the day went by pretty quickly and the last bell rang before you even knew it. It was clear that Sero was avoiding you as much as possible, little did you know Sero thought you rejected him.

Especially after you told him "I'm sorry", to him it felt like you were apologizing because the feeling wasn't mutual, but in reality you were apologizing for playing with his feelings and hurting him in any way if that ever happened. Hearing your crush talk about someone else, must hurt at least a bit after all and you felt bad about doing so.

Sero thought you didn't like him at all and decided it's for the best to avoid you for a bit. He wasn't mad or upset with you, rejection was normal but he just wanted to keep his distance until he felt a little better.

The truth was that you did like Sero, a lot actually, you were just too stupid to notice but todays events made the way you felt for him clear enough for yourself. You were holding on to a crush that wasn't even there, not realizing your actual crush on Sero.

You thought about confessing to Sero, especially after he did confess as well. Once you told the girls about that, they told you to do it and that nothing could wrong, they were excited for you, especially Mina since she secretly was the wing woman.

That's how you somehow ended up here after class, waiting on Sero in the hallway alone, you had left class a little earlier for this and not much after Sero walked out as well. He looked at you for a second, glancing away not much after.

"Hey Sero wait! Can we talk?" You asked him, making him freeze in his movements and slowly turn towards you after taking a deep breathe.

What did you wanna talk about? You already rejected hm, did you wanna hurt him more by making it clear that you didn't like him the way he liked you?

"If you wanna reject me again, don't even try it-" He answered, now standing in front of you. "Reject you? What are you talking about?" You questioned, making Sero raise an eyebrow. "Well you clearly just rejected me earlier-" He mumbled, not wanting to make a big deal out of it.

"Sero I wasn't- I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it that way-" You said, realizing that the words you used earlier today, could've been taking another way. "I was apologizing for the fact that you had to deal with me talking about a non existing crush on Shoto while you had a crush on me-  know that it might hurt and I felt bad, that's why I apologized for those actions and for playing with your feelings." You continued, making Sero realize you didn't actually reject him and get slightly embarrassed for overthinking the situation like that.

"So you didn't reject me?" He asked as he looked at you, all the worries he had a second ago, leaving him. "I didn't, that's what I wanted to talk about-" You answered, shaking your head a bit and taking a deep breathe as you started getting nervous. "Well go on.." Sero hesitated, being nervous of what you were gonna say next.

"Sero, I like you too." You confessed, being straight forward for once. "You- But what about Shoto?" He asked, being in shock with your words. "That wasn't really a crush after all." You laughed softly, looking into his eyes.

"So you like me?" He mumbled. "Yes I do, a lot actually." You reassured him, smiling at him as a he was grinning slightly,

"Then be mine?" He asked boldly, making you laugh a bit. "I guess I'm all yours then." You answered as Sero started laughing with you. "I mean who wouldn't wanna be with someone like me? I'm pretty good looking." He joked around, making the both of you laugh as you slapped his chest playfully.

Sero kept cracking jokes like this, making the both of you laugh together and not even noticing the fact that your friend group was spying on you.

"You should've said this earlier, I could've had you for longer." He teased. "I was stupid after all." You answered, giggling a bit as you looked at his lips and back at his eyes quickly.

Sero smirked and pulled you in a kiss, holding your face gently as you melted into his touch, smiling against his lips and pouting a bitt when he pulled back not too long after.

"Whoops- My lips just slipped a bit." He joked and you laughed. "Well I guess mine did too-" You mumbled, pulling him in another kiss, only to be disturbed by gagging sounds and people gong "ewww" making you pull back.

The both of you turned to see where the voices were coming from, only to see your friend group standing there, making Sero turn red slightly and flip them off after.

"Man shut up." He laughed as he wrapped his arms around you, holding you close to him and being the happiest dude alive.

He finally had the person he had been crushing on for the longest after all, who wouldn't be happy when that happened?
