You were sitting on the couch in the dorms with your classmates that didn't go to sleep yet. All the electricity in the dorms went out because there was a storm going on. Todoroki and you wanted to use your quirks to light it up a little bit, but Momo said it's better to safe it for emergencies and you guys agreed, so right now you guys sat there with the light of your phones and a few candles.

Your quirk is light manipulation, you could do anything with light, as long as you see light or have light restored inside of you, to restore light you gotta be in the light for 5 hours at least, what's no problem for you. It really didn't matter what kind of light it was, sunlight, light from a lamp or your phone, all kind of light worked, you could manipulate it all. You can manipulate light into weapons that can kill, you can make your whole body light up or just a few body parts, you can turn off light around you by absorbing it.

Suddenly a loud sound came from the boys dorm rooms. Kaminari and Midoriya quickly walked towards all of you, with worried faces.

''Guys what is going on?'' You asked them. ''Tokoyami lost control of his dark shadow, he told us to get back.'' Kaminari said and you got worried right away. You've liked Tokoyami for a while now and you can't imagine the struggles he's going trough right now.

''I'm going to him.'' You said and got up. ''Y/n you can't, it's dangerous!'' Midoriya said. ''But he's probably suffering right now!'' You answered him and the girls looked at you, knowing exactly why you were worried. ''I can't leave him alone when he's like that.'' You mumbled. ''But you'll get hurt.'' Midoriya said. ''Okay and? Maybe he's in pain too? I can help him!'' You said and Midoriya wanted to say something, but Uraraka cut him off. ''Be careful tho y/n, I believe in you.'' She smiled. ''Uraraka-san!'' Midoriya said and looked at you, walking towards Tokoyami his room.

You didn't even bother to knock and opened his door. ''Get away! It's dangerous.'' You heard him say and just shook your head, walking in. You looked at him and saw tears in his eyes, he was struggling to keep control so hard, poor boy the darkness got the best of his quirk. You didn't like the sight of him like that, because it looked so sad and he was trying his best to fight back.

''Y/n what are you doing here? Please get away.'' He said and you shook your head again. You got close to him and wrapped your arms around him. ''I'm not scared of you.'' You mumbled and held him tight, trying to calm him a bit down and it worked, just a little bit since he was still struggling to keep it in control. You activated your quirk and hoped it would work. You were still holding him, so you focused and lighted up your whole body. ''Your dark shadow is sensitive to light isn't it?'' You whispered in his ear, with the hope your light would help and it did.

Tokoyami his dark shadow finally calmed down and you let him go, letting him catch his breathe. ''T Thank you y/n.'' He said and finally caught his breathe, you smiled at him. ''No problem, I would be a bad friend if I left you struggling like that wouldn't I?'' You asked him and he laughed. ''Yeah you're right, I would have  done the same thing if you were struggling too.'' He said, making you blush. ''Why don't any of the lights turn on by the way?'' He asked. ''There's a storm going on and all the electricity in the dorms went out.'' You answered him and at that moment you heard a loud lightning strike, somewhere outside, making you jump a bit.

Tokoyami moved closer to you and wrapped his arms around you. ''Hey it's okay.'' He whispered and held you tight, you nodded in response. ''Thank you, I'm really grateful.'' He said and you smiled, snuggling up to him. Even it was for a short while before you guys went to the rest of your classmates, you enjoyed his arms around you.
