Himari waltz down the hallway of the third year classes and was passing by a certain classroom.

She took a small peek through the classroom window and saw Y/n talking to her friends. Himari without another thought, went over to the door and asked to see the certain girl she just saw.

Y/n went over to her with a smile, "Oh, you're Kuroo's classmate, right? What can I help you with?" she asked.

Himari simply smiled sweetly, putting on a facade. "I just wanted to ask you.. um.." she started of, sheepishly smiling. "Do you like Kuroo-san? I-I mean, you guys seemed close and all, I bet a lot of people said so too but, uh.."

"The point is, I like Kuroo-san and if you don't like him, I would like to confess my feelings for him," Himari exclaimed.

Y/n smile was slowly slipping off her lips but she kept a small smile on. "Oh, um.. no, I don't like him.. really, you can just go ahead confess to him if you want to," she said, a bit upset that the thought of having other people confessing to Kuroo made her feel insecure.

Wish she could have the courage to confess to him too.

"Oh my God, really? Thank you, thank you, thank you! Well, I will go now, before class starts, thanks again, L/n-san!" Himari cheered, heading towards her classroom.

It was lunchtime, Y/n went over to Kuroo's classroom that was next door to walk with him and meet up with Kenma.

Once she was there, she was about to call the volleyball captain out but noticed that he was talking to a certain someone.

Himari was smiling sweetly at him as Kuroo also had a smile but it didn't quite reached his eyes. Y/n knew that she shouldn't be jealous, it's normal for people to smile at each other.

'Is she the girl he talked about?' Y/n thought to herself. Himari was kind, friendly and beautiful just like what Kuroo described.

Was Himari the girl he described that day?

Getting out of her weird thoughts, Y/n called out to Kuroo.

"Oh, hey Y/n!" Kuroo smiled getting up from his seat. He then turned to Himari, "Sorry, I got to go," he said.

Himari simply nodded with a sweet smile.

When Kuroo and Y/n left, she mumbled incoherent words about the h/c girl.

While heading over to where Kenma would be waiting, the walk between Kuroo and Y/n was quiet. Both didn't know what to talk about until Y/n started to say something.

"So uh.." she sheepishly smiled. "Was that the girl you were talking about the other day? You know, your crush, is it Ito-san?" she asked, a little bit too fast.

"Wh-what now?" Kuroo turned to her with slightly wide eyes. "Ito-san? No, no, it's not her," Y/n let out an inaudible sigh to herself, Kuroo chuckled.

"Plus, I only have known her for 3 days or something? Never really talked to her either," the volleyball captain explained.

Y/n nodded with the new information she just got. 'So it's not her.. then who?' she thought to herself. Feeling eager to find out about his crush.

It was after class, students were dismissed from their last period of the day. Kuroo was about to head out of the classroom and to the gym but Himari stopped him by grabbing onto his sleeve.

Kuroo turned to her and raised a brow, "Ito-san.. Can I help you?" he asked, turning his whole body to face her.

Himari bite her lips with a rush of nervousness, looking at the ground. "You see.. uh," she started. "We haven't known each other for long but, if you could, um..." she trailed off.

"Yes?"

"Would you accept my feelings for you, Kuroo-san? I like you," she said, the last part more quietly.

Kuroo stood still, a bored expression on his face. It wasn't the first time this had happened. There were a lot of girls who would confessed to him even though they never knew each other well. He wasn't that kind of guy, he would like to get to know a person and if he feels something special for them then, that's that.

But currently, he was into his best friend, a child hood friend, he had a crush on L/n Y/n already.

He couldn't just abandoned his feelings that he had kept for so long like just like that. So getting to gteher with someone else wouldn't help, that's what he learned from dating others a year ago, it never worked.

"I'm sorry Ito-san, I can't accept your feelings," Kuroo said, saying it very clearly. "Thanks for telling, though. I gotta go now," and with that he turned around and left.

Himari stood in the classroom, feeling a bit of regret for being too rushed to confess. That's just who she was, falling for someone too fast and couldn't wait to tell them how she felt.

She also has thought of the other reason why he rejected her feelings. Of course he doesn't liked her, but there could be another reason.
