𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

we wanted to take a walk around the forest with kaya since Sasha had some things to do and for the next mission theirs so we decided to babysit kaya for the day so we can grow a bond with her.

"hey kaya, let me introduce you to the others you're age," I say as she nodded and holds my hand and I take her out to the backyard. the first one to notice was of course it was kichi so she was the first out of kanaos siblings to take to her and they got along quite well

"you're so cute! let's go play with the others kaya!"Kichi says as kaya looks at me and I nodded then the two girls went to play with the others growing bond so I smile that kaya is getting new friends other than the adults and the orphans

"she is getting along with them pretty quick" I hear a voice behind me say so I look to see kanao smiling at the children and I smiled at her.

"They sure are getting along," I said looking back at the children playing in the yard.

-an hour later-

It's been an hour so I decided to make some food for the younger ones so I go to the kitchen and started making some onigiris for them and some mochi

"guys! let's eat!"I yell then everyone comes to the table to see the food ready and fresh.

"eat some kaya-chan! It's really good" Kichi says as Kata takes an onigiri and takes a bite out of it.

"it's yummy," she says taking another bite out of the food making me smile that she was enjoying the food so we continued eating.

-a few minutes later-

After everyone had eaten they decided to tell Kaya the history of the past in the demon slayer corpse cause I told them before

"let's go, Kaya! I can't wait to tell you the story"kichi said pulling the young girl to the living room.

"They remind me of when you were telling me about a story before," kanao says as I chuckle

"true,kanao it's like we traveled back in time to meet our past selves, "I say as she giggled about my words and we head to the scouts to visit for a while since they been working hard these days.

"let's saddle up the horses before we go," I say, and kanao nodded and we saddle them off and head to the scout's headquarters.

-at scouts HQ-

The two females wandered around the building of the scouts HQ but no one in sight so they figured that they will find them so they wandered around the area which is the forest that's nearby .
