The weeks went by rather fast and nothing very interesting happened except that Weasley fell down the stairs, which was quite hilarious. I figured out that DADA is my favourite subject by far, but the teacher - Professor QuirreI - seems quite eerie; especially when he found a troll in the dungeons on Halloween. Of course it had to be Granger and Weasley that got stuck in that situation, they can't keep their obnoxiously large noses out of other peoples' business, not even a beasts'. It was the Saturday morning before the Christmas holiday started when my time here truly became exciting( apart from showing little brats their rightful place of course). I walked into the Library and heard the Weasel and Granger talking in hurried whispers.

"I found him!" she whisper shouted "Nicolas Flamel is the only known maker of the Philosopher's Stone!"

"The what?" Ronald asked.

"Honestly don't you read?"

"The stone will transform any metal into pure gold. It also produces the Elixir of Life, which will make the drinker immortal" she continued reading.

My head snapped up at that. 'The philosopher's stone. I've heard that before,' I thought while walking back to the common room to tell Draco and Blaise what I heard. I walked into our room where Draco sat on the leather sofa when it hit me.

"My Father!" I exclaimed while facepalming my forehead.

"What?" Draco asked while raising his eyebrow.

"I went to the Library and overheard the Weasel and Granger talk about the Philosopher's Stone."

"The what?" Draco asked while sitting upright on the sofa and putting his book down.

"The Philosopher's Stone," I said while rolling my eyes, "is a stone that can turn any metal to gold, but more importantly produces an elixir that makes the drinker immortal" I continued while sitting down next to him. "I heard my father talk about it with his Death Eater buddies and how he really wants it. He says it would make him invincible."

"I never heard my dad mention the stone..." Draco said thoughtfully, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Wait. Your dad is a Death Eater??" I said surprised.

"Most Slytherins' parents are Death Eaters," Draco shrugged.

"I didn't know that" I exhaled. "Maybe you could come over with him when there's another meeting. We could practice our Quidditch skills for next year!"

"That would be so fun! I'll go and write a letter to Father right now." Draco said while running out of our room. I smiled at the thought of Draco and I playing Quidditch together. 'I wonder what his blonde hair would look like in the sun,' I thought... 'Wait. Why am I thinking about this?' Before I could answer myself, Draco stormed into the room.

"I've sent the letter! He should answer by tomorrow morning" he said excitedly with twinkling eyes.

After we played exploding snap, we went to look for Blaise to tell him about the Philosopher's Stone. We expected him to be on the Quidditch fields like always, instead we found him with Pansy in the Great Hall scarfing down a pumpkin pastry.

"Come on Blaise we need to tell you something," Draco said while eyeing Pansy, "alone preferably."

He finished his food while quickly saying goodbye to Pansy. Once we were outside and back into our dorm I told him everything I had recently learned.

"Do you think this whole thing has to do with the door Dumbledore restricted anyone to enter?" Blaise enquired. "I've been dying to go there ever since he said it was off boundaries"
