"Use it well," I said, sitting on my bed. I wondered what it could possibly want me to use it for. "Xave," I continued. "What do you think we should do with this?" Xavier looked at me.

"I dunno," he said, every so helpfully. "First, I guess we should figure out who H is." I thought about that for a moment.

"Hagrid?" I inquired. Maybe the old wizard had loads of awesome things like invisibility cloaks, and maybe he just gave something of the sort to all his favorite students. I was only one of them because of my dad, though.

"Nah, I don't reckon Hagrid'd have a lot to do with things like that," Xavier said. I wasn't so sure, though.

"Maybe we should ask him, don't you think?" I stood up and prepared myself to go talk to Hagrid.

"Yeah, that'd be good," and together we walked out of the dorm.

"Albus, did you hear that?" Xavier said as we walked down the corridors.

"No," I replied. As soon as I said that, however, a voice spoke in my head. I couldn't make out what it said, it was too grating. I remember it was physically painful. I think I might have screamed, but my memory about the moment is fuzzy. I remember burning, falling, and then darkness.
