I liked Aelin and Alana, they both seemed a little hesitant but as they were in a completely new world I understand.

I went and got some leggings and a loose jumper for Aelin to wear, when I got back Mor was with them both in Aelin's room.

Mor was playing dress up with the little girl so I sat next to Aelin on the bed, content to just watch,

"Is Alana your daughter?" I questioned.

"No, she is one of the orphans I have taken in, my home has only just won a long war and is pretty much in ruin, there aren't many children who have no one but the ones that are living on the streets, hungry and cold, I took them in, the first thing I did as queen was set up an orphanage, I would have taken Alana there, but her power intrigued me." She was looking at Alana with pity in her eyes.

"We have just won a war too, Velaris took a large hit in the middle of it but the people who live here are hard workers and we have pretty much finished rebuilding now." I told her.

"Here are some clothes for you, it's almost dinner now, tomorrow you can meet the rest of our court, believe it or not Mor is our third in command." I shook my head at her acting like a ten-year-old.

"You know I can hear you Feyre?" Mor grumbled from the floor.

"Oh come on, you are not acting very official right now." I replied, she just stuck her tongue out.

"I miss my court, my mate." Aelin said from next to me.

"We will find out how you got here and how to get you home, our second is from another world, she can help you." I said, putting a hand on Aelin's.

She gave me a tight smile as Rhys knocked in the slightly open door.

"Were you feeling left out Rhys?" I mocked.

"Feyre, I'm five hundred and forty, you act like I'm five!" He came plonked himself next to me.

"I'm only twenty-one and I act more mature than you!" I shot back.

"Oh, thank god." I turned to Aelin frowning. "Oh, sorry, I meant to say that in my head, it's just, Mor said she was over five hundred and I got worried that I was the only young one here, I'm Twenty."

"Yes! Finally, someone my age, Az is the same age as Rhys. Amren, she's the one from another world, is something like seven thousand, she never tells us her actual age. And the last member is Cassian, he's also the same age as Rhys."

Aelin grinned at me and I knew we could cause havoc if we wanted to.

"I know how you feel, my mate is about four hundred." She had crossed her arms.

"Feyre, are you here?" I heard Elain calling.

"I'm in here Elain, we have guests." I called back; I had forgotten that she had been baking.

"Who is it?" She asked as she pushed the door open.

Mor and Alana sat up as she walked in, a shadow curled over Alana's ear and her eyes went wide.

"Alana, what did your shadows tell you?" I asked.

"That you and Elain are sisters" she said, giving me a sheepish smile "Sorry, it's just that back in Oryanth they didn't take a physical form, it was just a voice, it surprises me every time they come and tickle my ear."

She looked down and Mor took her hand.

"When I was little, I couldn't understand my power. I would be talking to someone and they would tell a lie, my power would flare, and it scared me, it wasn't until I was seventeen and I sat down with Rhys for a very long time that we realised my power was pure truth, it still surprises me sometimes when my power flares, but I have gotten used to it." She told the little girl.

Alana smiled and thanked her.

Elain was stood watching both of them, I wondered if she had been scared of her power when she didn't know what it was.

"Elain, did Nuala say if dinner was nearly ready?" Rhys asked.

"She asked that you give her another ten minutes." Elain smiled slightly.

"Ok, let's leave Aelin to get changed, Alana, you can only wear one dress." I said giving her a wide grin.

I let Mor help Alana choose what to wear and once Aelin had changed we all went down to the dining room.

"Aelin, I feel like a princess!" Alana giggled as she ran ahead, "Is this what you felt like when you were little?"

"I was exactly like that, I'm sure Aedion could tell a story of two about me making him play dress up with me." she replied, smiling a little.

Alana's eyes went wide "Aedion, as in the general?"

"Yup, that Aedion, you did meet him earlier." When she caught us looking, she added "He's my cousin, older than me by five years."

We all got to the dining room and sat down.
