Chicago: Sam's POV
"Nothing. There's nothing." I say quickly. "Yeah sure, what's going on?" Will says. "Nothing. Everything is fine." I say. "Hailey? What is it?" Jay asks. Hailey looks at me. "Sam? I think you should say it." I shake my head. "What is there to say? There is nothing." I say. "Sam.. talk to us, what's going on?" Will sits down next to me. Jay does the same but on the other side of my bed. "I will leave you three alone. I'll be at the restaurant if you need me. It's okay Sam. Tell them." Hailey says. I nod and she leaves the room. "Sam? Tell us." Jay says. "No." I say. "Why not?" Will asks me. "Because if I do you will get pissed, angry or something like that and I don't want that." I say. "Hey, don't say that. We just want to know what's going on. You haven't been yourself lately. We are worried about you Sammy. Tell us." Will says. "Okay... but you both have to promise that whatever you do you stay calm. Okay?" I ask. I look at my brothers. "Promise." Jay says. "Promise." Will says. I nod and take a deep breath. "Remember when I fainted at school? That wasn't because I felt sick or something. I was in class when I got a text. That text had me freaked out and I totally panicked." I start my story. "What kind of text was it?" Jay asks. I look up and get my phone. I unlock it and search for it. Then I show it to my brothers. "I don't understand who sent this?" Will looks at me. I get tears in my eyes. "It's dad." I say softly. "What? How? Huh?" Jay says. I start to cry. "This can't be true. How did he get your number?" Will asks me. "I-I don't know, I suddenly got that text and from then on he started calling and texting more and more. When Hailey stopped by I told her everything and she helped me since. He stopped contacting me until I got shot last week. Now I don't know what to do anymore.." I cry. Jay stands up. "This can't be true. How is this possible!" He says. "Jay.. we can find that out later, Sam needs us right now." Will says. Will grabs my hand. "We're gonna fix this Sam. We are a team, always there for each other right?" I nod. "Jay? Please don't be mad at me for not telling you. I'm really sorry." I say. "What? Don't you dare to think that I'm mad on you Sam. I'm mad on him. He never should have contacted you. Okay? I love you Sam, you're my sister. I will always protect you." He says and he gets back to my bed and hugs me tight. "Yes, we will do whatever it takes to protect you little one." Will says and gets in the hug. We sit there for a few minutes. Will wipes my tears off. "Okay from now on you tell us everything deal?" Jay says. "Deal." I say. "I'll call Voight and see if he can help okay?" Jay suggests. I nod. Jay leaves the room and starts to call. I lean against Will. "You are the bravest kid I have ever known. Do you know that?" He says. "What, why?" I ask. "You've dealed with this alone for so long. You handled it like a boss, that's just wow." He responds. "Yeah. But I'm happy that I told you now, I couldn't take it anymore. I don't know how far he will go and I don't wanna know actually.." I say. "I'm happy you told us. We saw you were struggling with something but we couldn't figure out what it was. Now that you did we can help you." Will says. I nod. Jay comes back into my room. "Well, Intelligence is gonna help us. Voight and Olinksy are on the way here. We'll fix this." He says. The fact that uncle Hank is coming too us right now relieves me and I take a deep breath. My phone rings and I pick it up to see who is calling me. I feel like I could faint any second. "Sam?" Will says. I look at my brothers and turn my phone so they can see who is calling me. It's dad.
