Chicago: Pat's POV
She answered. I can't believe she answered me. She sounded careful, like she was afraid or something. I will try to call her again soon, or maybe go visit her. She will be happy to see me right? Otherwise she wouldn't pick up her phone. Maybe Jay and Will were there to. I heard something on the background but I can't tell what it was. I look at my dashboard. I arrived in Chicago 10 minutes ago but I need a place to stay. It is probably for the best that I find a motel to stay in because I doubt that my sons will take me in.. I pull over to find a motel online and I get lucky. There is one nearby. I book a room and put the adress in my gps. Chicago, long time no see. But i'm glad to be back.

Chicago: Will's POV
When I wake up I see that Jay and Sam are still sleeping. Sam's eyes are red and swollen as she cried during her sleep. Jay and I took her in our arms and we fell asleep like that. I softly get out of bed trying not to wake them. I overthink what happened last night. Why is dad doing this? It is weird. I get to the bathroom and get freshened up. When I get back I see Jay waking up. "Goodmorning." I say softly. "Morning." He responds half asleep. Then he gets up and gets out of bed too. Sam is still sleeping so Jay and I get to the restaurant to get some breakfast. "I just don't get it. Why is he trying to contact Sam and not us?" Jay thinks out loud. "Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Maybe he knows that we wont accept it and tries to get Sam on his side?" I say. "Could be, but we would have found out sooner or later.." Jay says. I nod. Connor comes in the restaurant. "There you are. I was looking for you." He says. "What's going on? Is Sam allright?" I ask. "Oh yeah she is sleeping but I got the test results from her bloodtest yesterday. We checked her liver once again because it didn't looked to good last week. Turns out her liver got a little better. We have good hope that we can fix it with antibiotics. If it doesn't we still need to operate but we'll try antibiotics first." Connor says. "Wow, that's great news! We should tell Sam." Jay says relieved. We all agree and get back to Sam's room who just awoke. "Goodmorning sleepyhead, how do you feel?" I ask her. "Well my head hurts but that is something we can explain don't we? For the rest I'm actually feeling pretty good." She smiles. "Great, I've got some good news for you as well." Connor starts and he tells her what he found. "Really? That's amazing!" Sam says. "And there's more. Because you're feeling better and you're doing better.. I don't see why we would have to keep you here any longer. I will fill in the papers and you are able to go home this afternoon." Connor says. We all look at him. "Wow, thanks!" She says. "But I want to check in with you in a week and you have to promise to take some rest before you do your usual stuff. Your body suffered a lot and needs time to recover properly." Connor says. "Can she go to school?" Jay asks. "Not yet, at least not this week. We have to build this slowly so you will recover quickly." Connor explains. "Then what am I supposed to do all day? Laying on the couch?" Sam says. "No, you can come with me to work or with Jay. As long as you take you rest it will sort out." I say. She nods. "Yeah I think that the unit will be glad to see you again at the precinct." Jay says. "Allright then, go pack your stuff I will fill in your papers and make sure to get you the antibiotics." Connor says and he leaves. We nod and get started.
