Norman and Ray entered the large room. Apparently they were sent to the Tribunal Hall. Luckily it was a private one. And the people that were being tried were none other than Quan and Mai Song.
Tam and Linh just stared at their parents who stared back.
"Tam Song and the humans. Sit down in those chairs." Emery pointed to the chairs on the right of Quan. Tam frowned before looking at Norman and Emma.
"My parents."
Norman nodded in understanding as Emma just looked at him.
"Did he do something?"
"Hates me cause I'm a twin." He said, sitting in a seat away from the two. Mai looked at him, tears filling her eyes. Tam just rolled his eyes before turning to face the Councillors.
"Alright, what do you want to know?"
"Tell us what the human told you."
"He told me not to call him 22194."
Emery gritted his teeth.
"About the demons."
"He told me nothing about the demons."
Oralie frowned.
"Nothing at all?" She asked.
Tam smiled.
"He showed me an entrance, that's it."
"That's it? Where is the entrance?"
"Japan. On a statue."
"Were you able to open it?"
"There's a round keyhole so apparently it needs a key to open. He didn't tell me where I could get a key."'
Oralie shook her head as Emery sighed.
"Nothing else?"
"Nope." Tam popped the p.
"And you humans?"
Emma and Norman stayed silent. Emery sighed.
"Alright, we're done with you. You can sit with the others."
Tam got up, a smirk on his face. He levitated himself to be next to Linh as Norman smiled as Linh sighed in relief.
"Quan Song. Do you know why you are here?"
Quan sighed.
"Yes I do know."
"Good. We will still say why out loud for the benefit of all those present. Quan Song is charged with consorting with a half human, going as far as to have twins with her."
Linh gasped and stared at Quan.
"Wait, what?!" Sophie yelled. Tam sighed.
"Of course they were going to find out."
"Half humans exist?" Keefe asked.
"Half humans are the offspring of a human and an elf. These are very powerful and their children tend to be extremely powerful as well. There are only a few recorded ones after the we broke ties with the humans. Quan Song is mentioned in one of them with someone who originates from the Demon World."
"Dang Tam and Linh." Fitz said. "That means you guys are 1/4 human."
Linh just turned to Tam.
"Tam! I can't believe it. Are we actually..?"
"Apparently. So Mai isn't our real mom."
"Right. Will we ever get to see her?"
"Maybe not."
