"H-how..."

Tam smiled. 

"Norman, has it really been that long? How is Emma?" 

"R-ray."

Ray smiled. 

"H-how? You have blue eyes now and your hair..."

"I can change my eye color. My original color is dark green, but due to my genetics, I have more. I'm 1/4 human so..."

"I-I missed you so much. I thought you were dead..."

Ray hugged Norman.

"I missed you too, Stupid Norman."

"You have a twin?"

Ray nodded, deciding to slip into Japanese. 

"Linh. We didn't grow up together but well, I still care for her. Can't let another sister slip my grasp."

"How does it work? How are you also an elf? How are you here?"

"My biological mother was half elf and she sent me to my dad and twin. My dad married someone who acts like she is our mother. He didn't like the fact that mom was half human. But she was a powerful telepath and made their minds warp and change. I got all the memories of Tam Song and the others think I've been with them from the beginning."

"Dang. You met your biological mother?"

"Yes. She was actually a Mother."

"Can you change your appearance back?"

Tam nodded. 

"I won't do it now but I will later."

"What's your ability?"

"I'm a Shade. We control the shadows basically. More like shadow vapor. Few can control shadow flux. Only the strong willed. I just happen to be one of them. And they really think that my mind will shatter when I kill and that I don't like using shadow flux because it's too powerful and dangerous."

"Hah! Do they even know you?"

"No they don't and let's keep it that way."

"Alright. I can't believe it. After so long..."

"Tam! I brought mallowmelt!" 

Tam sighed as he looked at the door. 

"Come in Sophie!"

The blond girl came in.

"Any progress?"

"None. He's quiet. He obviously doesn't trust me or any of us yet."

"I see."

"You can leave the mallowmelt and go. I want to try and gain his trust in private."

"Alright." She said, leaving the mallowmelt and leaving.

"And don't even try to hide or else I'll know." Tam called out as she closed the door. He waited a few moments and used to shadows to make sure no one was spying before turning to Norman.

"There's two empaths. The girl with wavy brown hair and the annoying loud blond. Their names are Stina and Keefe. There's also a vanisher. They can be invisible and this one can hide from gnomes who can sense typical vanishers. She has brown hair as well but teal eyes instead. Her brother, Fitz, is a telepath so he can read minds. Marella, a blondie, is a pyrokinetic. Fire ability. She wasn't there today but you'll probabl get to know her soon. Sophie has 5 abilities. She's a Polygot, an enhancer, a telepath, she can teleport and she's an inflictor. Basically she can give you, inflict, positive and negative emotions, she can speak any and every language, she can read minds and she can strengthen our abilities. Wylie is a boy with black hair and chocolate brown skin and he's a Flasher. My twin, Linh, can manipulate water. Dex is a technopath so basically he can manipulate technology."
