Chapter 2
(Glitch)
Here we are, zero hour, trying not to puke when- "Glitch, please come to the principles office" the voice on the overcome said. "Oh no, who did you kill this time?" Akira joked. I covered my mouth and dramatically said "Oh no, I thought I hid the body. Akira chuckled and I exited the classroom.
On my way to the office thoughts filled my head: "did I forget something at home?" "Did I snatch the principles weave?!?" "Oh no, did I take the wrong lunc.." before I could finish I noticed I was standing in front of the office door. With sweaty palms I grabbed the doorknob and went inside. I looked around and there stood a boy with light blue hair. Huh? "Oh Glitch, meet the new transfer student, Zin Warloft" the nice secretary said to me pointing towards the kid. This is where my long, interesting, emotional roller coaster, and comical journey begins.
What kind of last name is Warloft?!?? Hahahaha!!! Let me guess he has a long generation of people who fought in war. I just stood there trying not to laugh when I noticed something. I just blankly stood there staring at him. "Heh looks like Zin has got an admirer" the secretary teased. Sure I was embarrassed but the only thing that caught my interest at that moment was the fact that this Zin Warloft guy....has a cut string just like me. I finally came back to reality and asked "Could you tell me why I was summoned here?" Oh god, summoned? Really Glitch?!? Real mature. "We were wondering if you could give Zin here a tour of the school" the principle said, walking out of his office. I gulped. The principle reminds me of John Cina in a twiggy body. "Sure why not...the name is Glitch" I said, offering my hand, praying he would shake it and not be awkward. He looked at me for a second then grabbed my hand and responded "My name is Zin, but I'm pretty sure you already knew that~" then he winked. "You got something in your eye?" I responded, I could hear the principle chuckle and I smiled. Zin cleared his throat and said, still holding my hand "Well, we'll be off then" and he full on DRAGGED ME out of the office. The audacity of this blue berry in a human body!!!
We got out of the principle's office and we just stood there. "WHATS THE BIG IDEA KID?!?!" I asked him "I can see them to...the strings" I paused. He could what?!?!? I thought only I could see the strings who, who is this kid? "Heh I guess you are a broken one like me" he said looking up at me. "Excuse me!?!? You don't just call a girl broken Kid!!" I screamed at him. He stood up all the way now "I have a name." Really? I had no idea. "Alright, um, Zin, first things first...please crouch down a little so I don't feel like a bean" he chuckled and leaned down a bit "better ginger?" "Yes now- wait what did you call me?" He leaned close to me "I called you ginger~" I tried keeping my poker face and grabbed his shirt "listen here Mr.Jerk, don't go thinking your the king around here" I said looking him dead in the eye. "I'm definitely not a king, by the looks of it, I'm an extra in the crowd now, ginger, please do me the honoring of letting go of my shirt." I let go and he slowly walked away "just d-don't call me ginger!!" I shouted at him. I could feel him smiling "to late, now if you excuse me, I'm going to try and find my way to my first class see ya later ginger " I want to kick him in the balls but I need to keep my calm. I huffed and walked away. On my way back to zero hour I thought to myself "hah what a jerk!!! But even so, something tells me I'm going to be seeing him a lot, whether I want to or not *sighs* and see you later? Yeah right there are over 200 kids in my school, I won't be seeing the jerk for a while." I laughed at my own comment and entered the classroom, got my bag, and preparing myself for my next class.
Man was I stupid for thinking that I would never see him again.
