I sprawled out across the bleachers with my notebooks and Tsukki's notebooks around me. The four teams have only been practicing for a few hours now but I was already bored. At the beginning I asked if Yachi needed help with anything and even though she looked extremely nervous and overwhelmed she was insistent that she was fine. She didn't seem like the type to turn away help, so I was surprised but oh well.

Yawning, some familiar dark roots caught my eye. Shouldn't he be practicing? Feeling braver and more bored than usual, I hopped down the bleachers to the final one.

"Whatcha playing?" I popped up behind the guy I saw Hinata run towards earlier today. If he was friends with Hinata, he had to be friendly right?

Startled, he nearly dropped the Nintendo Switch in his hand, causing my heart to drop into my stomach.

"Uh, what?" He asked, tightening his grip on the expensive electronic.

"I asked what you're playing, shouldn't you practicing?" I eyed the gym and noticed that half of the gym was still in a practice match while Karasuno and Nekoma seemed to be taking a brief break. How long of a break did they have? It had to be somewhat decent for this guy to pull out a game.

"I have to collect something quickly on this." He vaguely explained.

I frowned, I expected him to be more peppier but then again, he didn't look that impressed this morning when I saw him.

"How long of a break do you guys have?" I pestered, eyeing the device in his hand, now I really wish I brought mine - that would be a lot more fun than studying.

"Not long, until Karasuno finishes their penalties."

"Penalties?"

It was then that I noticed the guys were... diving? Around like penguins? What the hell did I miss?

"Yeah, because they lost the match. It's a punishment." He explained sounding extremely bored with our conversation, slightly offending me I might add.

"Hey Tsukki's girl, tell Kenma to get off his game and come over here! Another match is about to begin!"

"I'm not Tsukki's girl." I growled, "And I think he heard you."

"Don't call me Tsukki." I heard him growl from somewhere else across the gym.

Kenma sighed dramatically beside me.

"If you're here aren't you supposed to like volleyball?" I eyed him.

"It's fun, I guess." He turned off his Switch before standing up. Part of me wanted to ask him to let me play it but that would be weird - I barely knew him and something told me he wouldn't want me to mess up any of his process in any of his games.

Oh well.

Huffing, I picked myself back up and headed back towards my school work.

My phone became a distraction as I constantly found myself hitting the home button, only to see I had no new messages. But what was I expecting? The only person I talked to was Sara, so why the hell did I feel so disappointed?

Speaking of her - I should probably update her on my progress or lack of progress with Oikawa.

Progress? What was I attempting to progress in exactly?

"It's time for lunch."

I was laying on my stomach and looked up to see a quite sweaty Tsukki.

"More penalties?" I teased, there was no way he got that sweaty from volleyball alone.

"Shut up, unless you don't want to eat."
