"So you just transferred to Karasuno then?" Iwaizumi asked me, we already exchanged formalities and he was now showing me to the gate where I would most likely find everyone.

"Yeah..." Unsure how he felt about helping someone from a rival school, despite his intimidating appearance he actually was pretty friendly.

"Then why were you with Oikawa?"

"Uh," I blushed, "Well, you see. I may have ran into him earlier and talked a bit of trash."

Now he looked at me amused, "Like what?"

"I might have implied that he was a shitty player that was usually benched." I mumbled, fooling around with my fingers in front of me.

To my surprise, he bursted out in laughter.

"You said that?!" He continued his laughing fit while I blushed.

"Sort of."

He laughed some more, "Well that's a first. Usually everyone knows who he is and loves him."

I gave an awkward smile, "Yeah, I got that vibe."

"Oh that's good," His laughter was ceasing up, "I'm never going to let him live this down."

"Yeah..." I felt embarrassed from my mistake even though Iwaizumi seemed to be loving it, "You two are close though?" I asked, not quite sure what their relationship was. Were they just teammates or friends?

He shrugged, "Yeah, I suppose so. We grew up together and have been playing volleyball together forever."

"I thought so from the nickname, Iwa-Chan." His eyes darkened and I giggled, "You two were either close or he just did not care at all about social constructs, but then again that wouldn't really surprise me either from his personality."

"Yeah, he can be annoying but he is smart... calculating." He continued, his praise was interesting to see because it wasn't extremely clear but you could tell he cared and respected him.

"Like how he met aiming the ball at Tsukki." The comment was more for myself than him.

"The tall guy with glasses? Yeah. While he was warming up he watched as him and the shorty sucked at receives so he aimed towards him." He explained.

I pursed my lips together, "Should you be sharing that with me? I'm from Karasuno and you're sharing strategies. Who's to say I won't run off and tell them?" I somewhat teased.

He looked at me curiously, "Oh it's not a secret. I guess you just weren't able to hear him say it directly to them during the match."

I gawked, "He's that obnoxious and overconfident?!"

He chuckled a bit, "Are you really surprised?"

"Well, no." I admitted and it was then that I noticed the devil near the front gate talking to Karasuno. All in their matching black tracksuits.

"Well this doesn't look good." I sighed and Iwaizumi looked forward and groaned.

"That idiot, that's why he ran off in such a hurry."

By the team we reached everyone it seemed like we missed most or all of the conversation. No one from Karasuno was giving off positive vibes, they all seemed pissed off. Especially the tough, bald looking guy. Oikawa on the other hand looked rather pleased with himself and I was beginning to wonder if I watched the right match. Shouldn't he be the unhappy one since his team lost?

The dark smug look left his face as he saw Iwaizumi and I approach everyone.

"Oh? Iwa-Chan and Ren-Chan? What are you two doing together?" He asked in a pleasant tone.
