Practice had ended and I found myself soaking in the bath. My heart was going a mile a minute as I thought about how once I got out of the tub I had to prepare for my city walk with Kuroo. What the hell was I doing? Tsukki was probably going to end up giving me shit too, when he hears about this. I blew bubbles in the water.
That was if Kuroo wasn't already running his mouth about it.
Sighing, I stood up and wrapped a towel around my body. Looking at my phone that was resting on the counter I saw no new messages and I scowled.
Who was I really expecting a message from though?
Ignoring the ugly look on my face, I proceeded to put my hair into two braids before spraying on a bit of perfume and body lotion to rehydrate my body.
Walking outside of the bathroom, I found Yachi on her phone.
"Are you all finished with the bath?" She asked, peering over at me.
"Yeah, go ahead." I smiled before squatting down to take out the blue off shoulder, tie back dress I packed by the odd chance that something like this would happen. Once Yachi shut the door behind her, I slid into the dress before checking myself out in the mirror - it was cute but kind of short, was he going to get the wrong idea about me?
Shaking my head, I fixed up my face by putting on more makeup than I had on earlier. This morning I only bothered with putting on some bb cream and concealer to hide my imperfections.
Once I was satisfied I waited on my futon for Yachi to finish up in the bathroom and get ready for dinner.
The door rattled and I smiled up at Yachi but instead of meeting me with another smile, she stared at me awestruck.
"You look so nice!"
I blushed, "Uh, thank you."
"Can you make me look like that?! I don't have a cute dress like you but even just doing my makeup a bit."
I smiled nervously, "Sure." Doing her makeup would probably just make her even more cute and bring in more attention from the guys that she was fearful of, but how could I say that to her?
It didn't take long for Yachi to get dressed and for me to do her makeup, I kept it really natural for her, just doing my best to enhance her natural beauty.
"You ready?" She smiled up at me as I followed behind her. She was wearing a pair of overall shorts and a tee - I was beginning to feel very overdressed especially since I was with a bunch of volleyball boys who were all probably wearing tracksuits right now.
Taking a deep breath, I trailed after her. It didn't take long before I ran into Tsukki. He stopped walking when he saw me and visibly eyed me up and down before raising an eyebrow but not saying anything.
"You look really nice, Yachi!" Yamaguchi instantly spoke up, before a crimson blush lined his cheeks.
"Really?!" She blushed, "Addison-san did my makeup for me!"
"Well you always look good but you look extra good tonight." I silently chuckled at their exchange, it really was cute. After watching their exchange I made eye contact with Tsukki again.
"What?" I bluntly asked.
"Nothing." He dismissed me.
"I keep catching you staring at me." I argued stubbornly.
"You just look nice." He shrugged before taking the lead in our walk. I gawked, scrunching my face together.
"You're so annoying." I muttered, struggling to catch up to his long legs.
