alexis's pov

we sat in the driveway of the sway house. all of our hair still wet, eating our McDonald's. it had been silent since we got home. the trunk was filled with bags from shopping. we were all still in out bathing suits and were exhausted. finally i broke the silence, "i don't mean to bring the mood down but, i just wanted to say thank you for sticking up for me this morning. i don't deserve you two and i hope i never loose you." bryce was the first to respond
"i want you to know we will be here for you always"
"yeah and whenever you need to talk about something we will get through it together." jules said. i pulled them both into a hug. once we finished our food we grabbed our bags from the trunk and headed inside.

the second i opened the door i heard the one person i didn't want to see. josh. i walked into the kitchen greeting everyone accept him. he was the only person who hasn't wished me a happy birthday and honestly i couldn't care less. i just wanted to ignore him as much as possible.
"hey alexis can i talk to you" josh said walking out of the kitchen.
"let me see your neck." i said with a straight face
"you can't be serious i thought you were just joking" josh replied laughing nervously
"yeah nope wasn't joking let me see" i said. josh lifted up just shirt revealing many dark purple hikeys still on his chest.
"yeah ha your funny nice try though" i said turning and starting a different conversation. my phone buzzed in my pocket and i took it out to look at the notification i got.

i looked up from my phone and went back to my conversation. i noticed across the room jules and some of the guys were whispering in the corner. i see them walk off somewhere towards the living room and i go back to what i was doing. a little bit later i was hitting my puff and i notice flashlights come into my view. i look behind me and everyone starts singing happy birthday. i see jules and a couple of others even josh. it made me feel appreciated to know that even though i was standing my ground and maybe being an ass he was still there for me. they finished singing happy birthday and i thanked them. we ate cake and chilled for a little while. after we finished the cake they started bringing out presents and alcohol. i opened presents and thanked everyone that brought them. after everybody else left i was just hanging out drinking when out of the corner of my eye i see josh and nessa making out in the corner. i was in between stages 3&4 it was pretty clear because what i did next was the stupidest shit i could do. i looked around for the closest single sway boy clearly not thinking straight. i saw jaden first and easily coarsed him upstairs. it didn't take long before he had me pinned against the wall. i'm pretty good at this kinda thing. i get someone by themselves and make them think that there into me. it works best if there not sober. like jaden he was clearly crossed because of the red eyes and the smell of alcohol on his breath. i had gotten him right where i wanted him. he leaned in first and connected our lips. the kiss started off slow and quickly escalated. not long after i was pinned on the bed and jaden was over me our lips still connected. i flipped us over and started kissing down his neck giving him slight hickeys.
"hold on wait" jaden said in a low voice. i quickly took notice and stopped what i was doing looking him in the eyes.
"we can't do this i'm crossed and your drunk it's not right." he said sounding really respectful
"your right your 100% right i'm sorry that's my bad" i responded climbing off his lap
"no no don't apologize it's not your fault it takes two to kiss this isn't all on you" he said reassuring me "here come here" he said taking his shirt off and laying back on the bed. i lay down with him putting my head on his chest. a little bit later i felt jadens breath deepen. he was clearly asleep. pretty soon i found it hard to keep my eyes open.
