i let out a sigh as i walked inside. i had just got back home from a meeting with my management.

fun.

i raised a brow as i heard the tv on in the living room. i walked into the living room and let out a small laugh as i saw jj on the couch with the kids, watching my old interviews. leo and iris were sitting in her lap, while jackson was cuddled into her side.

i looked at the tv; they were watching some interview that i had done back when i had dyed my hair blonde.

i thought back to whenever jessie had saw the finished look for the first time.

"wait, holy shit," she gasped. "you're actually so fine, what the fuck?"

i let out a soft laugh as she held her arms out for me. i walked over and she immediately placed her hands on my waist. she looked up at me from her spot on the bed.

"i might just have to let you top tonight because jesus fucking christ," she let out a low whistle before throwing her head back. "you're so fucking hot. literally run me over."

it's definitely safe to say that blonde is her favorite color that i've dyed my hair.

"hey." i greeted softly, making them all turn around to look at me.

the kids gasped as they saw me. leo stood up, holding his arms out for me to pick him up. i did so, placing a kiss on his cheek.

"hi, mommy!"

"hi, sweet boy," i murmured. "have you had fun with momma?"

"mhm!" he hummed excitedly, then pointed to the tv. "we watched you!"

"i see that." i chuckled.

i bent down to place a kiss to jj's head, making her smile. "hi, princess. how did the meeting go?"

"it was so annoying," i rolled my eyes. "they want me to go on tour again. i told them no and they eventually gave in. they're dumb as hell if they actually thought i was gonna leave my family for months."

"i'll beat 'em up." she threatened jokingly, making me laugh.

"i don't doubt it."

i walked around the couch to sit beside her, and sat leo in my lap. iris moved from jessie's lap to sit in mine instead, and hugged me tightly.

i laid my head on jj's shoulder, looking at the tv as my interview still played.

"you should've saw their reactions when they saw that i was in the 'bad guy' music video," she chuckled. "they were so shocked."

i was going to hire somebody to do push ups while i sat on their back for the end of the music video, but jessie had practically begged me to let her do it instead.

and who i am to say no to her?

"we also watched one of your festival performances, and they loved that. they were dancing around the living room and shit. i got it on video, so i'll show you later."

"lil' cuties," i murmured. "is this what y'all do while i'm gone?"

"pretty much."

at one point, jackson finally came over to me. he wrapped his arms around my neck as he hugged me.

"you're finally deciding to say hey?" i teased as i hugged him back.

"i missed you," he mumbled. "i don't like it when you and momma leave."

i kissed the side of his head. "we're never gone for long. we always come back, right?"

"mhm. i still miss you though." he pouted.

"well, i miss you too when i'm gone," i told him softly. "more than you could ever know."

"really?" he asked.

"really." i confirmed, watching as a large smile spread across his face.

"i love you, mommy!" he gushed as he placed a kiss to my cheek.

"i love you too, jackson." i grinned.

he shifted in my lap so that his back was against my chest. leo had moved back to jj's lap, so i wrapped my arms around jackson and iris to hold them as we continued to watch my old interviews.

"mommy," iris whined as she pulled on my hand. "i want cookies. please?"

i bent down, picking her up and setting her on my hip. "since you asked so nicely."

i walked over and got some of the cookies that me and jj baked earlier out of the container, handing one to her. a large grin spread across her face.

"thank you, mommy!"

"you're welcome, my love." i laughed as i kissed her forehead.

i walked to the living room, seeing jj and leo napping soundly on the couch. i set iris down so that i could get a blanket and place it over jj and leo. i kissed both of their foreheads before picking iris back up and taking her upstairs.

i walked into jackson's room, seeing him coloring something. he turned to me, giving me a smile.

"hey, mommy."

"hi, love."

"down, mommy!" iris commanded softly.

i put her on the ground, watching as she ran over to tackle jackson in a hug. they both giggled loudly.

"y'all are too cute." i murmured as i walked over to sit next to them.

i looked at jackson's drawing. "what are you drawing, buddy?"

"an eye," he told me, picking it up and handing it to me. "do you like it?"

i looked at it. for it to be drawn by a five year old, it was pretty good. he had colored the iris a light blue.

"it's your eye, mommy." he informed me.

he's seriously just like jessie.

"it's so good," i told him genuinely. "for real."

"thank you," he grinned. "can we put it on the fridge?"

"yeah, of course." i nodded.

"yayyy!" he cheered loudly.

i grinned. "can i have some besos?"

he nodded, leaning over to place several kisses on my cheek. "i love you, mommy!"

"i love you too," i told him, then took iris into my arms as well. "and i love you too."

she smiled widely, nuzzling into my chest. "i love you!"
