Xu Ran and Liu Tong arrived at Wu Mei's yard after finishing everything in the kitchen. After all, the house's owner was not there, and they were too embarrassed to remain inside. Since the children were all out in the yard, they were able to keep an eye on them to ensure that they did not misbehave.

Soon after, Wu Mei and Liu Qing returned, accompanied by a man called Liu who was an itinerant physician in the village. He was a bit of an outsider. In the village, he was identified as Doctor Liu.

Wu Mei frowned as he saw Xu Ran and Liu Tong standing in the yard "Why don't you let Xu Ran sit in the room, Liu Tong? Wasn't it his leg that'd been bitten? You're so careless!"

Liu Tong smiled "Don't worry. It's just a bite. After seeing the doctor, it will be fine."

Doctor Liu had been welcomed into the room by Liu Qing, who had also asked Liu Tong and Xu Ran to follow him.

Liu Tong supported Xu Ran into the room and told Doctor Liu, "Please take a look for Ran, Doctor Liu. His mouth bled after he was slapped in the mouth. His leg was also bitten."

Doctor Liu instructed that Xu Ran lie down on the bed and then open his mouth to show him the injury. Since the wound in his mouth was difficult to heal, he could only wait for it to heal naturally. He'd recover quickly as long as he was healthy and didn't have any internal heat.

Doctor Liu disinfected his leg's injury with liquor, then applied medicine and wrapped it in a bandage.

Even though Xu Ran was bleeding, his injuries were minor, and all he was required to do was rest.

Liu Tong also took advantage of the opportunity to speak with Dr. Liu "Dr. Liu, Ran seems to be more conscious these days. Please check him to know if his head injury has healed. And please prescribe some medicine."

Everyone in the room was thrilled after hearing Liu Tong's words. It would be a big deal if Xu Ran was truly well once again!

Doctor Liu took Xu Ran's pulse, performed a few acupuncture procedures, and then gave Xu Ran some medication to take first. He said to them, "It is really recovering, and whether he can fully recover or not is based on this medicine. Let's see how effective the medicine is."

Liu Tong nodded, his face beaming with delight and anticipation. Doctor Liu intended to leave after treating Xu Ran, but Xu Ran stopped him.

"Yes, Mr. Xu, what's the matter?" he asked Xu Ran, who was lying on the bed.

"Doctor, please, Tongtong... he hurts," Xu Ran says, pointing to Liu Tong.

Liu Tong was taken aback when he heard Xu Ran's words. He then recalled his own shoulder injury. If Xu Ran didn't mention it, he wouldn't have thought of its treatment.

Liu Qing was also able to comprehend it "Are you hurt, too, Liu Tong? Then you must act quickly. Allow Doctor Liu to examine it. What would your family do if you collapse?"

Liu Tong also thought of this and didn't refuse.

Doctor Liu could not ask Liu Tong to take off his clothes to show him his wounds because he was a daddy. Only some ointment could be given to him by the doctor to apply to his wound.
