In the evening, Xu Ran asked Liu Tong to fry the tiny shrimps. The fish could be raised in the bucket and then killed when the chilli paste was needed.

Xu Ran crept back into the room while Liu Tong was busy in the kitchen. He placed the red candles on the table that he had purchased. Then he pasted the Chinese character for happiness on the paper with the leftover potatoes from lunch and hung it near the door. The bright red bedsheet covered the entire bed, giving it the appearance of a newlywed couple's room.

He spread out the two sets of wedding clothes on the bed, pinned the jade hairpin to Liu Tong's clothes, and adorned him with the crown. Xu Ran quietly exited the room after everything had been done. Xu Ran went to the bathroom to take a bath before eating.

Xu Ran also urged Tangtang and Guoguo, who were expected to play after dinner, to go to bed. Even though their father was acting strangely tonight, they decided and went to bed. Xu Ran didn't want Liu Tong to enter the room right now, so he told him when Liu Tong was going to take a bath, "Tongtong, you take a shower first. I'll get your clothes."

Liu Tong didn't feel it strange because Ran had said that this was an enjoyment between couples before. He thought Ran would do it again, so he went to the shower. Xu Ran went back to the room, took the wedding dress to Liu Tong and then went to do something else.

Liu Tong saw the dress that Xu Ran had prepared for him after taking a bath. The bright red outfits were stunning, both in terms of style and material.  Liu Tong had never seen such decent clothes in his whole life, so he was shocked. He shouted at the outside, "Ran, come here. Did you get me the wrong clothes?"

After he shouted for a while, there was no response. The two kids didn't reply, either. Liu Tong was worried that something happened, but he had nothing else to wear, so he had to hastily put on the wedding dress. He was a Ge'er. Even at home, he couldn't run around naked.

Liu Tong went to the two children. He didn't disturb them because they were soundly sleeping on the bed, and he felt relieved. Then he remembered Xu Ran, and he went straight to his room. He just needed to take ten steps to get there because it wasn't that far away. He pushed the door open and found that Xu Ran in bright red clothes was struggling with his hair. He looked a little embarrassed, but there was a smile on his face.

The door was unexpectedly pushed open, startling Xu Ran, but he soon realized what had happened and handed the crown to Liu Tong, asking, "Tongtong, could you help me with this?"

Liu Tong was still reeling from his ordeal. The space was illuminated by two thick red candles, and there was a lot of hot air. The Chinese characters for happiness were piled over the wall and headboard, and the bed was draped in a bright red bedsheet.  And Xu Ran, who was dressed in the bright red wedding dress and had his hair untied, was beaming at him, holding a crown in his hand, which he wanted to give to Liu Tong.

"Tongtong, could you help me put it on?" The attractive voice came out again. Before he could react, Liu Tong had already taken it.

He walked over to Xu Ran's back and helped him in tying his hair with the jade crown. Xu Ran then formed a circle in front of him. Xu Ran was a handsome young man with his smile, wedding clothes, and jade crown on his head, which made Liu Tong flush.

Liu Tong didn't wash his hair. Xu Ran helped him tidy his clothes, and then took out a jade hairpin from his behind like a magic. He asked Liu Tong to lower his head and inserted it in his hair, "Tongtong, I feel that only you could deserve the jade hairpin when I buy it."

Liu Tong was a little bashful, but he was very happy indeed, "Ran, how did you think of this?"

"I know you didn't wear the wedding clothes on the day we married," Xu Ran said as he held Liu Tong in his arms. "It's your one and only chance in life, but I failed to provide you with anything. I'm ashamed of myself. Now let' prepare for the wedding again. In the future, you'll only be mine."
