George woke to feel the hot sun caressing his face. This wasn't any morning sun. It was Sunday sun. Both Ringo and George's favourite day of the week. It was the day they could have a break from playing and recording music and instead spend quality time with each other.
George looked slightly downwards to see his beautiful lover sleeping peacefully, cuddled up to his chest. He decided to let him rest as long as he liked. It was Sunday of course, Sundays are for resting.
Moments later, Ringo's eyes fluttered open to see the most beautiful sight: his handsome boyfriend and the Sunday sun playing around his face as he gazed at him.
"Good morning, sunshine." George whispered, bringing Ringo closer to him. He wanted to get as close to him as possible.
Ringo hummed in response. He hugged George tightly and nuzzled his nose in George's chest. There was something about George's aroma that made Ringo feel so safe. He smelled of this sweet smelling cologne that he always used and mint.
"Did you sleep well?" George asked. Ringo nodded, he was still half asleep. George tickled Ringo's tummy. "Wake up, sleepy headd" he cooed. Ringo giggled softly before looking up at George and giving him a peck on the cheek and snuggled closer into him.
"Ohh, what would I be without my Georgie." Ringo sighed.
"Single." George retorted.
"Very funny," Ringo laughed. "I love ye. I don't know what I would do without ye." He said as he cuddled into George's chest more, wrapping his arms around George's slender body and hiding his face in his chest.
"You're getting pretty touchy, luv."
"Are you complaining though?" Ringo asked. "Besides, you're very huggable this morning."
"And i'll be huggable all day. Now let's go back to sleep, you look very tired still." And so they went back to sleep and stayed in bed all day, cuddling and sleeping.
