To Honor and Respect

───────

Sasori is alive.

How though? Lady Chiyo scanned around the destruction and spotted something that caught her eyes. His last living part of his body was still intact that is transferred to a different puppet. He directs his brown-gray eyes at Misa. She was shaking like a leaf, and her face showed horrid emotions. "For a Medical Ninja, you should understand the situation. One or both will die because of you." Sasori threatens her repulsively. Sakura becomes furious at his crude remark. "Shut up!" She shouted. The human puppet brutally digs the sword into her ripped organs. Sakura cries in agony that stunned Misa even more.

"You're a courageous girl. But how long can you hold on?" Sasori wondered in his haunting voice.

Misa has the antidote in her hand. She has the choose who gets to live. Her mind was racing, and she was subconscious about her heart is beating rapidly. That's when she feels a warm touch on her hand. She flinches and turns her head at Chiyo with a surprised face. Misa can detect some tenderness in the older woman's eyes. "Give it to Sakura." She tells her. "Chiyo obaa-sama." Misa grows bewildered. The elder speaks, "She deserves to continue living with the people that she truly adores and loves. I had my days, but her life is more important." Chiyo tries to convince Misa. When she saw those young shinobis coming together, she admired their bond and knew that they are worthy of happiness.

"Gomenasai. I've caused all this." The ebony-haired beauty has spoken downcast.

Chiyo shook her head. "No, none of this is your fault." She held Misa's hand tighter in a reassuring grip. "Save your friend." She tells Misa almost like a plead. For a short period, she finally obligated.

Uncaps the antidote then injects it into Sakura's body. Sasori took a glance at his weakened grandmother. 'I can't believe how everyone chooses death for the sake of others. How stupid.' he thought in discontent. However, he begins to realize that Sakura has enough strength to pull on the sword's blade. Sasori didn't want that to happen. He tries to move in the weapon deeper, but she kept fighting it. An idea came through the human puppet's head.

He discharges the sword and brings out another one, attached to his porcelain arm. Sakura immediately understands what he is going to do next. He is going to take down Misa and Chiyo. Sasori backs away and sprints towards them. "Die!" Raising his voice like a lunatic. Misa takes out a kunai knife, ready to attack back as he starts coming closer. Just before Sasori could, he felt sharpness pierced through his last living part. Chiyo used the chakra strings and controlled a significant creation.

His parents.

"Now, you cannot move. Am I right?" Chiyo asked Sasori. "Although you have a body of a puppet, you use chakra, so you need a part of living. That's your weakness. Your real body is that chest part that produces chakra." She discerns from his last puppet that it had the core. Sakura sluggishly makes contact to the ground with the sword impaled in her abdomen. Misa rushes over and checks her neck pulse. It's pretty faint as she describes it. "Gomenasai, this is going to be very painful." Misa is concerned about taking the sword out. Sakura could lose a lot of blood. "It's okay. Do what you can." The pink-haired girl spoke weakly. She trusts her friend with her whole life.

Misa took a deep breath before proceeding. She applies her hand over the afflicted injury and performs the Healing Jutsu. Then, she very slowly starts pulling the sword to avoid any blood loss. Sakura groans in anguish but lets Misa keep going. Once the ebony-haired beauty got it out, she throws the weapon elsewhere. "It's futile. I pierced a vital point. She'll soon be dead even without poison." Sasori countered that it would be hopeless to cure someone who got poisoned. Misa was about to continue, but Chiyo stops her. "Let me take over." She said. The young kunoichi nods and has her do the rest.
