The Assault

The sudden impact felt like a heavy gust of wind. However, a human being created it.

Misa feels her body getting thrown away and not stopping. She tries collecting all of the force to prevent getting hit or falling straight to the ground. Luckily, someone spotted the whole thing.

"Onee-chan!" Misa heard her brother's voice. Koichi catches her in a bridal style and swiftly lands on the flat surface. He was quick enough to get to his sister after he witnessed the attack. All at once, they could hear cries of terror. The civilians are running in fear, trying to find safety.

"What happened?" Koichi asked Misa worriedly. He lets her stand to recompose herself. She felt like the air got knocked out of her body. Misa lets out deep breaths because she needs to calm herself. "The Akatsuki. They are here." She answered and stared deeply into Koichi's owlish gaze. Then she grabs both of his hands in a tight grip. "I need you to hurry and find otou-san and okaa-san. Make sure the people get to the evacuation shelter. Understood?" Misa directs him because she doesn't want her precious brother to get involved in the battle.

Without hesitation, he nods his head. Koichi will follow his sister's orders. Misa turns to have her back facing him. "But what about you?" The boy questions before leaving. Misa formed her hands into fists. "I'll be protecting this village and its people." She marks her words in firm determination.

They wanted a battle, so let them do it.

For many years, the Akatsuki desires a world of enlightenment and no suffering. They wanted every single Tail Beast as part of their elite army. Up to this moment, the organization would rather destroy a place that has positivity yet ruins many people's lives.

Shortly enough, Misa gathered several innocent people to safety. Throughout the guidance, she was observant of who would tackle back at her. She can only predict the group ambushed the guards from outside because the village had an invisible barrier beforehand. They must've broken the seal, but how, though? That is the question.

As soon as she could look for more civilians, a humongous, centipede-looking creature appeared. Misa gritted her teeth and chased after it. It was above the size of a six-story building. She gets off the ground to discover the thing is ready to terminate a woman shielding a child. Panic rushed through her head because she was not close to them. Suddenly, a haze of pink came before her.

"Shannaro!"

To her relief, Sakura was the one who beat the centipede. She saves the two people with a single punch. She even healed the little girl's knee from a fall. Sakura tells them to run along and follow the others to the shelter.

Misa comes back down and runs to hug her friend. "Thank goodness you're okay!" She could feel Sakura returning the hug. The other kunoichi spoke, "Me too. Have you seen our friends?" She asked about the group.

The petite girl pulled away, and she shook her head. "No, I have not. They're probably helping, but I don't know if they'll be doing fine because it's the Akatsuki." She declared the ones who are responsible for this mess. Sakura's mint green eyes gaped in total shock.

"Sakura, Misa!"

A familiar voice hollered out their names; it was their Academy teacher, Iruka. He hops off the roof to approach his former students. "Are you both alright?" He asked, covered in dirt and grime. The man came with other Jonins because they were alarmed about other Jonins getting assaulted. Sakura and Misa nodded their heads. Iruka sighs because he is glad the girls are okay.
