"Okay, how about this one?" Lydia asked holding up a purple dress. It was really puffy at the bottom. It had dimonds and crystals all over the bottom. I shook my head.

"It's not really your color." I said looking at her up and down. Lydia chuckled.

"Oh, honey...everything's my color." She said while holding out the dress and studying it. I rolled my eyes and walked around the store. Not even a second later Lydia ran up to me holding up another dress.

This one was not puffy. It was long, Straight, and flowy. It was a really light pink almost peach color. It had a dimound out belt. I smiled big while nodding, notifying her that it was good. She sqealed and ran to the fitting room.

I sighed and sat down on the waiting room couch. I pulled out my phone and looked through my messages even though I knew Derek didn't leave me call or text. I sighed agian while turning off the screen and putting my phone back in my pocket.

The fitting room door flew open to reveal Lydia in the dress. Even though I was gay, I still think She looks absolutely beautiful.

"Wow." Was all I said. She looked in the mirror and twirled.

"I know right. Do I have an awesome taste in dresses or what?" She asked already knowing the answer to that.

I stood in my room looking at my reflection. I was wearing a black tuxedo with a light pink flower in the chest pocket. It matched Lydia's dress.

"You look great, son." I heard my dad say while walking into my room. He wore big smile. I smiled.

"Thanks, dad."

"Ya know, I wore this when I was taking your mother to prom. Never wore it ever since." He said fixing the tie I tried but failed at tying.

"How come?" I asked looking up at him.

"Well, it had been my first dance and I wanted to give it to you on your first dance." He said. I felt my smile widen.

"Thanks, dad. I know you might not think so but this really means a lot to me." I told him. He hugged me.

"I know things haven't quite been the same ever since your mom died but just know I'm here and I love you, Stiles." My Dad told me into my shoulder.

"I love you too, Dad."

"C'mon, Stiles. It's going to fun. Stop worrying." Lydia told from the passenger seat next to me.

"I'm not." I said. Lydia turned her head and looked at me.

"Yeah right." She said rolling her eyes. We were parked at the schools parking lot. Lydia was fixing her make-up. I opened my door and got out. A second later I heard The passengers door shut.

"C'Mon. Lets go get our party on!!!" Lydia singed while grabbing my arm and pulling towards the door.

When we walked in everyone in the room including the teachers stopped and stared at us. Oh yeah. I forgot a lame nerd like me taking a hot popular girl like Lydia to the dance doesn't exactly make sense. Plus everyone in the school already know I'm gay.

Lydia and I went Sat at a table. After a while everyone went back to what they were doing and stopped looking at us. I scanned around the room.

I saw Jackson standing by the punch bowl giving me a death glare. He was crushing the empty styrophone cup in his hand.

I looked away to find Scott. Scott's here? Why didn't he tell me He was coming? Oh yeah. I forgot were not talking. He was sitting at a table with Allison. Laughing. He still didn't tell me about what happened with Isaac.
