Kenneth played with his ponytail, braiding it and twisting it with anticipation. He was having another country visit him. Two in just one week, boy he sure was getting popular. Nathan would be surprised yet proud. Ken smiled at the thought of his best friend Nate. His chest hurt a little, he hadn't seen him in a month and he missed the stuck up brown eyed state.
He missed so many people Daisy, Olivia, and Tessa. He felt a presence and looked up smiling."Heya Mr. Ivan!"
"Hello lettle Kentucky!"
The big country said bending down to Kenneth's height. Russia one of the countries Ken really liked, he couldn't see why everyone was scared of him. He wasn't even really big just tall, though the puffy coat he wore made him look bigger than he actually was.
"How are ya' doin?"
"I am doing fine, you?" He said standing up straight again.
"I'm okay-dokey...ooooh that's a neat lookin scarf you got there!" Kenneth said staring brightly at the long scarf. Ivan smiled and nodded.
"Da! It is my favorite!"
"Cool! I don't have any scarfs, I just have flower crowns. Say, I like your pipe also! Man you look real tough!" This made Ivan beam even more.
"Thank you! I have just had it cleaned! Your flower crowns are nice also."
"Aww shoo! Thanks! Ya' want one?" Kenneth asked wide eyed.
"Da! That vould be vonderful!" Ken carefully pulled out a sunflower one and held it out.
"Here ya' go!"
"Thank you!" He said setting it on his head,"It is sunflowers!"
He giggled and kissed Kenneth on the nose in thanks. Ivan was glad to spend time with really the only person who was nice to him, perhaps that's why he never tried to scare him. Kenneth blushed.
"Aww shucks it's nothin'..."
"Still thank you!" Ivan said hugging him tightly before directing his attention back to the flowers.
"Wow Mr.Ivan your strong," Ken said after the hug, "is that why Al is scared of ya'?" Ivan turned his head sharply.
Oops not the best topic to bring up.
"I think so. But after the Cold Var, he has been paranoid."
"Ah I see, well I like ya' even if he doesn't."
"I like you also.." he said smirking. Kenneth's face bloomed into a smile.
"Really? Yay! Just wonderin', do ya' know how to work one of these?"
He asked pulling out his trusty Winchester riffle. Ivan tilted his head. As if he was trying to read something that would tell him how to use it or what it was
"Nyet. I am more comfortable vith pipe than guns. Vill you show me?"
"Sure! So ya' shove the bullets in here...then you cock it like this...then you pull the trigger..."
Kenneth's hand at that moment decided to slip making him pull the trigger. Why did stuff like this happen to him? What did he do to make God hate him so much? The shot fired into his right shoulder, barely missing his head.
"GAH! FUDGE! THAT HURTS! RIGHT IN THE SHOULDER! OH GOD OUCH! IT'S LIKE JESUS GAVE ME SPLINTER MADE OF METAL! IT DOES NOT FEEL GOOD AT ALL!"
Ivan quickly rushed over to check out the wound.
"Oh no!"
'Oh no!' hell ya oh no he's fricking shot, and bleeding.
"You vill need stitches." He said hoisting him over his shoulder.
