Summary:

Namjoon is a soft, dimple-smiled alpha who's working as a part-time barista to pay for his school fees and Jin is a charismatic, handsome omega who also happens to be Namjoon's manager. Both of them are oblivious to the other party's feelings but there's one thing that they both know; Jin smells like yuzu and Namjoon's favourite drink is honey yuzu tea.

Namjoon doesn't feel right. There's an uncomfortable twisting feeling in his gut and he's burning up underneath the thin cream coloured shirt he has on. Fanning himself with one hand, he hastily makes his way to the bar where he whips up a cup of honey yuzu tea, hoping his favourite drink could make him feel better.

Taking a long sip from the cup, Namjoon closes his eyes and lets the tea rest on his tongue, savoring the flavor and letting out a small satisfied hum as the warm tea flows down his throat, soothing his frazzled nerves. His little bubble of serenity gets shattered by someone agitatedly ringing the bell that sits on the countertop, for customers to get the attention of the workers, and he scowls, putting the cup down with a pout. Forcing a polite smile onto his face, Namjoon makes his way over to the cash register and greets the customer with a warm welcome, which the customer quickly waves off.

"I want 10 large cups of hot jasmine green tea please." The man says and Namjoon flounders, throwing a quick glance over his shoulder before turning back to the customer with a sheepish smile.

"I'm afraid we're unable to do that sir. Unless you're willing to wait 20 minutes for the next batch of tea to finish cooking-" Namjoon tries, but the man cuts him off before he can finish his sentence.

"What kind of customer service is this? I called the shop so many times earlier this morning to place an order and no one picked up the phone and now you're telling me I have to wait 20 minutes before you can even start on my order? This is ridiculous!" The man shouts and Namjoon flinches, hands balling into fists at his sides.

"Look sir-" Namjoon tries again but the man interrupts him once more.

"No, you look! I don't owe you anything! In fact, I'm doing your company a favor by buying so many drinks!" The man seethes and the little ball of discomfort in Namjoon's chest flares up into a raging inferno.

"Listen here mister, it's not my damn fault that we were busy in the morning and couldn't pick up your call! I don't get to choose when the tea runs out so who asked you to order so many damn cups!" Namjoon snarls, regret curling in his chest the second the words leave his mouth.

Shocked by his own outburst, Namjoon ducks his head and scuttles away after a mumbled apology, pushing Jungkook out to deal with the enraged customer while he grabs his cup and disappears into the stock room to mope, guilt clawing at his throat. Perching himself on the only chair in the room, Namjoon curls in on himself and brings his knees to his chest as tears start to string at the corners of his eyes.

I didn't mean to, it was an accident, why did I do it.

Those three phrases keep repeating themselves, over and over again in Namjoon's head and he exhales shakily, bringing the cup of tea to his quivering lips in an attempt to quell the guilt settling in the pit of his stomach. The door creaks open then and Namjoon knows who it is without even looking up, from the sweet yuzu scent that filters into the room.
