Chapter 2

Out of frustration I walked out of the house ready to punch something or a certain someone. How can he be like that? As if Itachi weren't his brother.

I run trough the streets to the training ground. When I reach the training ground, I started to punch the target dummy.

I threw a barrage of punch and kicks until my fist and foot hurt.

I let out my frustration trough the dummy target. When I felt tired, I rest for a bit.

Since I'm not an official ninja yet, I'm not allowed to have my own kunai but I managed to snuck Itachi's old kunai, which I kept since he left the village.

I look at the targets. Memorizing it's places, I closed my eyes and focus my mind.

I jump high on the air and threw a kunai on my left. Hitting the target in the middle. Bull's eye ! I then threw a kunai on my left hitting the center of the target as well.

Repeating the process, I threw a kunai in every direction of the target. Then the last two targets remain. One is on the front of me and the other one is hidden behind a huge boulder.

I relax my muscle and steady my breathing. I took three kunai from Itachi's kunai holster. I breathe in and breathe out, trying to focus and relax my self.

When i know I'm focus enough, I once again jump on the air trhowing two kunai straight on the target ahead. I count 1 to 5 then I threw the last kunai on my hands. Hitting one of the kunai that I threw earlier.

The other kunai went straight to the target hitting the middle. And the other one sent straight behind the huge boulder.

I walked towards the boulder and looking at the target, hoping that I hit the target. But when I get to see it, it only hit on the white part of the target.

I sighed, I really can't perfect that move. If Itachi nii-chan were here, he could've teach me a lot of things.

My stomach growled. Well I guess it's time to go home now.

Since I'm the girl, I'm incharge for the cooking. So I went to the market first, I bought some ingridients for miso soup, fish and some stuff.

When I went home Sasuke wasn't in the house. I checked his room but he wasn't in there either.

So instead looking for that jerk of a brother of mine, I started to cook miso soup and I broiled the fish.

When I finished cooking I set the table and wait for Sasuke.

I waited for two hours, for a two good damn hours but he's still wasn't home. I started to get worried and went outside to look for him.

It was ten in the evening. I look everywhere to find him but I can't find him. Then when I came near a cliff from the other side of the village I sensed his chakra, and I walk towards him, but I decided to hide behind the tree for awhile.

After a couple of minutes he sensed me "I know you're there. What do you want?"

I walked towards him and sit on his side. Looking at the village, it's like the night sky. The light from the village looks like a star. It was indeed a magnificent view.

Then I look up at the sky. Mesmerized by the beauty of the night sky and the shimmering stars.

"I just wanna see the stars with you." I looked at him and I smiled.

He just scoffed and didn't talk to me. Silence is consuming us as we both staring up at the night sky, taking in it's beauty. But it wasn't an awkward silence. It feels like peace. For once we both had a peace of mind.

"Sorry about what I've done and said to you earlier. It was just out of frustration." I broke the silence still looking at the stars.

"Hn." Was his only reply. But atleast he replied.

"No family is perfect. We argue, we fight. Heck we even stop talking to each other at times..." I trailed off and giggling a little.

"But in the end, family is family. The love will always be there." I continued. Looking at him sending him a warm smile.

He just look at me, seems interested of whatever I still have to say.

"I guess that's why I did what I did and said what I said. Itachi nii-chan is still our brother. If you did really loathe him that much, I'm sorry but for me he's still my older brother..."

"Even if you're the one who did it Sasuke. I will still continue loving you and I won't give up on you, because you're my brother. And I love you that much to hate you."

"Yes I've been lonely, hurt and even heart broken beacause we lost our parents and our family..."

"But I look at the bright side. I still got you. We still have each other Sasuke. Didn't we? So I was thankful that I didn't loose you." I told him while I'm looking at the village. Tears streaming out on my eyes.

I slowly wipe the tears on my face and I stood up. I went into Sasuke's back and hugged him.

"I love you brother. You're all that I got. I promised to protect you and I won't leave your side. Even if you're annoying." I chuckle a little and he grunt, looking irretated and all. But I didn't care, I just wanted to hug him. It doesn't hurt to hug your brother once in a while right?

I stood up and patted my skirt. "By the way, dinner is ready. Come home if you wanted to. I'm going now."

As I walked pass him. I heard his stomach growl.

"I guess someone is hungry." I sang. And we both laugh.

I offer him my hand, he begrudgingly took it. I help him to stand on his feet. And we walked home holding each other's hands.

We reached our home and we ate the food that I cooked. We talk about some stuff while eating our dinner.

When we finished eating, Sasuke volunteers to wash the dishes and clean the table.

After he finished washing the dishes, he went upstairs to his room. And I did the same.

I took a quick shower, brush my teeth and dry my hair. I wear my black sweat pants and a grey tank top with the Uchiha symbol on the back. I put my hair on a messy bun.

I suddenly heard a knock on my door. "Come in." I said. Knowing that it was just Sasuke.

He came in and sat on the side of my bed. "I just wanted to say.... uhmmm. Thank you for today." He said shyly not looking into my eyes.

Sasuke wasn't the type of person to say thank you. So I was surprised. I hugged him and he hug me back. I smile for my self.

"It was nothing, really. What do you expect me to do ? You're the only family that I've got." I said still not breaking the hug.

"I may love Itachi nii-chan, but your my only family Sasuke. He's just some person from my past. So don't get angry whenever I'm thinking of him. I love you brother." I finished then breaking our hug.

"I love you too Sayuri. Goodnight." He kissed my forehead.

"Goodnight Sasuke." I kissed him on the cheek.

He walk out of the room and I sighed. He's so unpredictable. You never know what he will do next.

I lay on my bed  ready to be consumed by my dreams with a smile on my face. Tomorrow is another day.

Well God has a reason for allowing things to happen. We may never understand his wisdom. But in the end, we simply have to trust his will.
