We could barely sleep during the night not wanting to miss the Flat Trans. It was our only way out. When the Flat Trans was open we all slowly walked through it. On the other side there was only a very very dark tunnel. The one Janson was talking about. We were walking for about 10 minutes when we heard one of the girls scream. Then she stopped screaming and we could hear a metal ball falling on the ground rolling away. This happened four more times. We had no idea what the hell was going on so we were happy to finally reach the house. We opened the door and the light from the house filled the tunnel. I looked back to see who we had lost. Four of the girls did not look familiar at all. The fifth one was too familiar though. It was Jessica. I could not help but think about Minho the moment he would find out.
We were all sitting inside the house waiting for the boys to arrive. The sun was setting already and the darkness was once again taking over. A few moments later the boys appeared on the horizon. It was time for Teresa to complete her task. We all decided to return to the tunnel and wait for Teresa there. When she returned she walked towards me with tears in her eyes and hugged me. It was heart breaking to see her like that. We could not think about our emotions. The only task we had was to get out of the tunnel and meet the boys again. I could only think about seeing Newt again. Even though I was not allowed to speak to him I knew that seeing him would make me happy. When we finally got out of the tunnel I walked closer to Teresa to talk to her. "How are you doing?" I asked and I could see she was broken inside. "Look Teresa, it will all be fine. Thomas will forgive you. Who knows what might happen to us. Some of us will end up better then others. That is just how things work" I said and she finally looked at me. "I know..." she said but then looked away again. When we finally arrived to the meeting point we decided to discuss how exactly we were going to kidnap Thomas. "The boys will arrive tomorrow morning We will be watching from the lower points of the mountain with weapons so that nobody will follow us. (Y/N) and Teresa will go down, talk to the boys and tell them to give us Thomas. Am I being clear?" asked Harriet. We all nodded and then decided to get some sleep. My head was filled with thoughts. I had no idea what I was going to do if Newt asked something. My eyes started filling up with tears and I repeated in my head what I had told Teresa before: this is just how things work.
