Chapter 4

So here I was waiting to find out what the reason why I was asked to stay behind. Mr Williams didn't really talk to the students unless he was helping them.

"Because your struggling with English, I'm going to start tutoring you. If that is OK with you?" he said. So that's the reason he wanted talking tome. Okay, and the happy moment was gone. "Oh." was my response.It was a rubbish response I know but I didn't know what else to say." How did you know I needed a tutor?" I asked as I was genuinely curious.

"To be honest, your work does. You have your exams soon and I really don't want to see you with anything less than I know you are capable of." Well that was a little disappointing. He thinks I'm stupid...

"It will be after school every Tuesday and Thursday." he continued calmly. After school? With the hottest teacher in school!?!

"Erm...sure but isn't today Tuesday? Does that mean you want to start today?" I replied,trying to sound as calm as I could. "Yes, so can you meet me in this classroom at the end of the day please." he said it as more of a command than a question.

"Sorry I can't tonight." I told him, suddenly remembering I had to look after Becky. I felt really embarrass telling him no especially seen as he was trying to help me but I had no choice. He looked a little disappointed, probably from not being able to start straightaway. Who am I kidding, I did need a lot of help.

"Okay. How about tomorrow?" he asked hopefully. I was trying to quickly think of anything that was planned but the sudden pressure made my mind go blank. "Sure" was all I could manage to say. He looked a bit happier now, probably with getting a starting date set. "Okay,I'll see you tomorrow. You best get to your next lesson before your late." was his response. I took that as the end of the conversation, so I made my way towards the door. I felt his eyes on me the whole time. Just before I walked through the door, I turned and met his gaze. I was right. He was looking at me. I gave him an small smile and left.

When I got outside the classroom Danni was waiting for me as I knew she would. Kayleigh was also there. As soon as I reached them I was bombarded with questions."Oh my Gosh, what happened?" asked Kayleigh with excitement but also a hint of worry. She probably thought I was in trouble or something."What did he say?!" asked Danni with the same tone. I didn't know how they were going to take what I was going to say.

"Well, apparently I'm more stupid than I thought as he thinks I need a tutor..." I began.I took a deep breath and continue. "He offered to tutor me.." I said hastily and almost holding my breath for whatever they were going to say. I was still in shock a little myself, but I made it sound like it was nothing because to be honest it really wasn't. Its not like we are going to be sitting there talking about our lives. He was just tutoring me. There are a lot of pretty girls in the world that would want to be tutored in sex education with him but not me. Okay, I admit he is good looking. Wait! What am I thinking?! I can't say that he is my teacher! It's going to be tutoring and nothing else. I'm just being silly.

They both looked at my like I had two heads. "What?" I asked them as they kept staring at me. "I needed a tutor of some sort anyway to be able to get any sort of decent grades," I continued. They suddenly seemed to snap out of it pretty quickly after that.

"Your so lucky! You get to spend more time with him! I'm so jealous!" Danni said. Me and Kayleigh chuckled and began to make our way to our next lesson.
