Whist Jeremy was busygetting the takeaway menus I took this chance to take a proper lookat Mr Williams, or do I call him Caleb tonight as he's here asJeremy's friend? He wore black skinny jeans which showed off hismanly legs. He also wore a dark red t-shirt which showed of hisbeautiful muscular abdomen. The suits he wore to work everyday didnot do him justice! Caleb's eyes flickered to me and I quickly shotmy eyes down to my hands while my cheeks were quickly heating up withembarrassment. I swear he caught me checking him out. Dammit!

Luckily Jeremy walkedback into the living room with the takeaway menu's in his hand andthe awkward atmosphere died a little. I shifted a little in my seaton the plump black fabric sofa and tried to get a hold of myself. This would not be awkward if I don't make it that way, so my goal wasto try and act as laid back as possible... try being the key wordhere. I took a deep breath and brought my gaze up to Mr Williams."Would you like a drink?" I asked him. Mr Williams finallyallowed his eyes to meet mine but he still looked awkward with thesituation.

"Erm.. sure. A cup oftea would be great thank you." I stood up quickly as I could notwait to get out of this room so I could take a breather.

Before I could stopmyself I turned around and said "Ok erm... Sorry but what should Icall you? " I asked trying to not meet is gaze but not making ittoo obvious. "Please call me Caleb out of school. I don't mind.Plus it should make this situation less awkward for both of us." Icouldn't help the smirk that tugged at my lips. "Ok...Caleb." Isaid trying to see how his name sounded coming from my mouth.

Butterflies erupted inmy stomach as I said his name. It felt nice and right. I shook myhead to try and ride those thoughts. Nothing can happen. He wouldn'tbe interested in me and I'm definitely not worth him loosing his jobover! I quickly make a cup of tea for Caleb and myself then take adeep breath to compose myself before making my way back into theliving room. I placed his cup on the coffee table in the middle ofthe room then take my seat back on the sofa. "Thank you, Lexi."Caleb said with a comforting smirk. I didn't trust my voice so I gavehim a small smile.

"So! What doeseveryone want? Pizza? Chinese?" Jeremy announced. "Pizza!"Becky shouted excitedly. We all looked at her and laughed. "I'm upfor Pizza." Jeremy agreed and looked at me and Caleb for ourapproval. "Fine by me." me and Caleb said at the same time. Ilooked away quickly while trying to hide my sudden red cheeks. Calebgave an awkward chuckle as his response. Jeremy didn't seem to noticeand took our orders and then rang the pizza place to give our order. When he got off of the phone he told us that it would be around halfan hour for it to be delivered. Great, so what to do..

I thought the wait forthe pizza to arrive would be awkward but we all seemed to finesomething to talk about and it became less awkward for me by theminute. The conversation ended up turned towards Jeremy and somefunny things he had done in his past. "I still can't believe thatShelly Turner threw all your clothes into that fountain!" Calebsaid while laughing. "Well I did seep with her sister!" Jeremyreplied, half-heartedly trying to justify what happened. "That'sawful!" I laughed as I gently shoved him playfully. "This is whyno one wants to date you and why I never take dating advise fromyou." I continued while still smirking.

"Hey!My advise is golden! Anyway, it helped you with that boy you liked."Jeremy defended. I looked at him in shock. Talking about his pastlovers was one thing but talking about mine in front of Caleb wasemotionally and mentally scaring.

"Hushyou." I said and playfully smacked him again. I quickly turned mygaze to Caleb and saw that he looked intrigued. Oh god, this wasbad...

"Who's this boy? Do Iknow him?" asked Caleb. "No!" I replied quickly. I cringed asnow he would now I was lying. I mentally scolded myself. "Oh! Ithink I remember his name.. now what was it..?" Jeremy said whilelooking at me and smirking. He was totally letting me down on thewhole family trust thing. I looked at him warningly as to not sayanything further but he seemed to challenge my glare and spoke again.

"I think his namewas..... Jacob." he said with a smirk. I sent him a threateningglare again while Caleb seemed to click on to who Jacob was. "Jacob from yourEnglish class?" Caleb asked amusingly. "No!" I replied againway to quickly and cringed again. "Ha ha ha. Oh my. Didn't know youliked the bad boys Lexi." Caleb said with a wink. Luckily the pizzadelivery man knocked on the door at the moment and I felt a sigh onrelief leave my lips. Caleb's gaze was still on me and he had amischievous glint in his eyes. Tonight was going to be a long night.
