Lost without you

Chapter 10

Tyler's POV- 
I can't believe it what is Piper doing here? I thought she had left? " oh hey Piper I thought you left the radio station?" She laughed at me " oh I did but I decided to come back I missed it too much. Anyways what brings you back I thought you where Sunning it up in Saint Lucia I heard that's why you left? To be with your mum and oh are you still with that Jody as well ".

I couldn't believe what I had just heard her  say did she really just refer to Jody as that Jody how dare she? " Well if you should know yes I am still with Jody thats the reason I came back to work here we are going to be buying a flat together". She just stared at me like she was lost for words "  look Piper let's just forget about what happened in the past me taking you to prom was a mistake a very big mistake. I love Jody and I want to spend the rest of my life with her anyways I better get going I'm due to start my shift."

Pipers POV

I honestly can't believe he's still in love with that loser Jody! I don't know what he sees in her I mean I'm far much prettier than her? I also cant believe he said taking me to prom was a big mistake! We where having a great time till that Jody stuck her nose in! Well I'm going to show Tyler he made the wrong choice and dated the wrong girl and  he will be dying to go out with me and dump Jody. I followed him into the radio station I sat on the desk in front of him " you look handsome today" he just looked at me and didn't say anything at all. " you know Tyler I've always fancied you since the very first time I met you there was something about you that I just liked. " I leaned over him and tried to kiss him but he pulled away " woah Piper what you doing? I'm in a happy relationship with Jody, look please just leave me alone to get on with my shift." 

Tyler's POV-
I can't believe the nerve of Piper who does she think she is? I can't believe she just tried to kiss me when she knows I go out with Jody! What am I going to tell Jody I can't tell her I'm working with Piper she will not be happy and make me quit and we need the money for the flat. I will have to keep what happened a secret the  next thing I know Piper hands me a slip of paper " if you change your mind text me". She gave me her mobile number I don't know why I just didn't tear it up and throw it away but for some reason I decided to keep it.

4 hours later still Tyler's POV-

Woah I'm glad that shift is over I'm dreading having to work with Piper everyday though. I got on the bus and headed back to the DG I was not looking forward to seeing Jody she will know something is up. I walked in the front door and was greeted by    May-li " oh hey Tyler how was your first day? " oh.. em yeah great thanks" I just walked away I then bumped into Jody " hey ty how was your first day?" She looked like she was about cry " look Tyler I need to talk to you". She looked serious " what's up Jody" I was getting worried " please promise you won't get angry."  I promised she then said something that made me so upset " I don't think I'm ready to leave here just yet Tyler, every time I go look for a job I panic and turn around and come back home I'm scared Tyler I'm not ready to become independent. I mean we are only 16 we still have plenty of time don't we?" I couldn't believe what I was hearing it was just like Saint Lucia all over again. I promised her I wouldn't get angry but I couldn't help myself. " I can't believe this Jody it's just like Saint Lucia all over again. You saying your ready to leave when I'm reality you aren't well I'm sick of it" she looked so upset " Tyler I'm so sorry please forgive me I love you" I just stormed off up to my room I didn't even want to talk to her at the moment. I then pulled out the bit of paper Piper gave me and did something I didn't think I was ever going to do I texted her.

Hey Piper it's Tyler was great to see you today. X
