Cold nights
Always brings the frights
That lingers in your mind
Wanted to be set free

"Ahh looks who is back" A man with a dirty beard sitting behind a beaten down desk with a cigar between his yellow fingers said that. He leans backward into his chair with a smug smile. "I knew you would"

"What do you want?" Victor glares into brown eyes that holds trouble. Never knowing what tricks he have up his sleeves. Victor knows the man have a plan or wants something because the man never doesn't nothing unless it will help him gain money. "I have a busy life Brad"

"With what? School and talking to..." Brad gives Victor a creep smile showing his rotten teeth "little miss Amelia" he stares into Victor eye waiting for a reaction but he never received it instead he just got a blank look and a tilted head.

"I have my own business running along with going to school. Going to say what you want? We both know small talk is a wast time" Victor leans on a wall pole and put a leg in front of the other with crossing his arms. He looks around the area making sure no one was hiding or around.

"I know you think the attack on your girl was me but it wasn't" Brad stands up which made Victor tense. "Now calm down I'm not going to hurt you but someone wanted to hire me to hurt or kill you"

"Who?"

"I don't know" Brad shrugs and throws a pale brown folder on the table. "They didn't gave me a name just info and  money offer. Here look" Victor looks at the folder and doesn't move at all. Brad signs and moves away from the table and then mentions to Victor again to take the folder. Slowly Victor walks to table while also looking around his surroundings. He picks up the folder and goes back to were he was. He looks at it and his heart started to race with fear.

It was a bunch of pictures of Amelia. When she was at home, stores, parks, and school. Then he seen pictures of himself at school and at work but never at home. There are little notes on each picture of the time, area, and small details. Victor felt a sudden rage inside his body but he couldn't do nothing, yet. He grip the pictures tightly and looked at Brad with a calm look.

"I was thinking to take the deal but then I got hold on some records" Brad went and grab some papers in a drawer and put it on the table. Victor went to grab then and wonder what they can. "I always wondered why you are who you are and I found my answers" Victor eyes widen looking the pictures of him when he was younger. Cuts, blood, black and blue/ purple bruises all over his face and body. His eyes closed shut remembering the memories he deeply kept locked away deep in his mind. It opened right there and he can feel the pain and fear all over again.

"The hospital told me the records of proof were all burned" Victor says soft and tired. He looked away from the papers but still kept them in his hand.

"Most of them were but someone kept a few copies incase they were needed" Brad went and sat down in his chair and put his feet up with his arms behind him. "I want to help you"

"Why?" Victor crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow at him. Wondering what Brad is up too because there has to be something he wants but can't think of what it could be.

"I have my reasons let's just say for now I be helping a old friend" Brad stands up and goes over to where Victor stands and put a hand out "I promise to not go after your girl and if need be I help protect her too" Victor just stares at him to make sure there were nothing hidden behind his eyes but all he seen was honesty. Victor shakes his hand and then gets a call from Rowy who was waiting outside in the car.

"I got to go. Call me if anything new happens regarding all this"  Victor left and saw Rowy looking worried but then relaxed when he say victor jogging to his car.

"You took too long" Rowy said when Victor got in the car.

"Yeah we started to talk. Let's go home"

While going back to Victor's house they noticed a white van following them. Then all of a sudden a gun shot hit the van almost making them go off the road.

"Damn it not again"
