The past always come back
And hunts your scars
Wanting to reopen
But the light keep going strong

"I am dangerous because there is always someone after me. I have to be soulless to do what it is needed to be done which makes a lot of people scared of me. It makes me horrible but I don't mind it." Victor said with a cold tone and looks right into Amelia's eyes. She shivers from the look but keeps staring into them. He looks away from her. "I never been in a gang but my mother is friends with one. She used to take me with her when she visit them as a child. She always had a type of anger and hatred for me that I never understood. After my father left she got worst." He stop with a distant look. He kept looking at the wall and Rowy looks at him with a worried expression.

"I always had a bad feeling about her" Amelia said quietly then grabs Victor's hand. He shaked off his thoughts and looks down at his hands he tried to pull his hand away but she kept a firm grip. He signed and let her have her way.

"The rumors about me murdering people isn't true but my mother made it look like I killed two families. The judge let me go because someone gave them evidence that I didn't do it but many people still think I killed them."

"I heard your mother is prison for drugs and robbing a store"

"Yeah she's in prison now" He didn't want to tell her the real reason why his mother is in prison. He knows she will be upset and doesn't want that so he looks at Rowy to say something. Rowy claps his hands then said,

"Ok so we just got back from talking to someone that might help us but when going back to Victor's house a car came up and started shooting at us. That's why we're here."

"Is it the same people that broke into Victor's house?"

"Maybe we couldn't tell because we were being shoot at and trying to stay alive" Rowy said with a dull look but then gave a small smile. Victor and Amelia looked at him weird.

"Who's the guy helping out?"

"His name is Brad and he's an annoying ahole" Amelia slaps Victor's arm and he looks back at her with a shug and a look that says 'what? It's true.' "Anyways he is going to call me when he have more news."

Amelia looks at Victor and plays with his hand while he looks down at his phone that just went ding. She watches him make a frustrated look and puts his phone away in his pocket. Her heart starts to skip when he looks at her and tilts his head.

He wanted to speak but lost his words for a moment. His heart began to beat faster when he noticed they were holding hands. Then he remembered the message he just received and got back to focus, mostly.

"I have to go to work there are some problem with some projects" Victor stands up and then turns his hand to Rowy who slouch back and wines,

"Not again. Will those idiots ever learn?" Amelia looks at them confused and then got sad at the lost of contact of Victor's hand.

"You work in a company right?" Rowy smirks at Amelia question.

"He's the Boss" Victor rolls his eyes and  crossed his arms. Amelia eyes widen in shock and her mouth drop.

"I took over my grandpa's company a year ago no big deal" Victor roll up his sleeves to focus on something because he knew he would want to stay longer if he looks back at her.

"Wait are you really going to stay at your place? Isn't the windows and door broken?"

"I already called someone to fix that so he be fine" Rowy said while he stood up and they all walk to the doors. "I be with him for the rest of the day. See you later Amelia" Rowy quickly walk towards the car while feeling Victor cold glare behind his back.

"He should go back to his family" Victor grumbles then told Amelia "Thank you for letting me and Rowy in. We appreciate it." He walked out then almost trip over the sidewalk when he felt arms wrap around him.

"Please be careful and be safe. Call me later too." His heart felt it going to rip out of his chest. He felt his face and ears become hot. All he wanted to do was ran because all his hidden feelings are coming back alive and he had no clue on how to handle it all. He quickly turns around without looking in her eyes and kissed her forehead.

"I will" Amelia didn't had time to process what just happened before Victor jump into the car with a red face with Rowy laughing then drove off.

Both of their hearts and thoughts couldn't calm down for a while that day.
