James POV

One month later...

I squealed excitedly over the items in my online cart. Sarah's 18th birthday is coming up and I wanted to make it special for her. She and I became really close this past month, mostly because she's the only one around my age besides Damien.

She reminds me a lot of Kylie who I miss so much. I sighed deeply and focused back on shopping. Next thing I know my eyes were being covered by tiny hands. I smiled already knowing who it was.

"Guess who mommy!" Aiden said giggling. He had started calling me mommy out of nowhere a few weeks ago and it stuck. I guess he sees me as more of a mother figure.

"Hm... I wonder who it could be.." I said confused playing along causing a deep chuckle from Damien.

"It's me Aiden." He said in an obvious tone making me laugh as he took his hands off of my eyes. I turned around to see Aiden holding a box of chocolates and Damien holding a large bouquet of flowers.

"Aww my babies! Are these for me?" I asked pouting.

"Of course babe! You deserve it. When Aiden saw I had them he was dying to give them to you himself." Damien said laughing. Aiden handed me my chocolate and gave me a big hug. He snuggled into me as I rocked him back and forth. He's gotten so much healthier and his little cheeks are getting so much chubbier.

"Would you like some of mommies chocolate sweetie?" I asked making him nod wildly. I giggled taking a napkin from my nightstand and placing three pieces on it for him. "Go eat these in your room." I instructed kissing his cheeks.

"My turn yet?" Damien pouted handing me the flowers. I took a deep breath smiling at the amazing smell.

"Come here you big baby!" I said sitting them to the side opening my arms. He wasted no time wrapping himself around me carefully. "Thanks for the flowers and the candy. You're to good to us." I pouted before pecking his lips. I may have developed a teeny-tiny crush on him but my heart forever belongs to Jason.

"You are my queen and my queen will always be treated as such." His said softly before looking at his laptop I was previously using. "More shopping? You keep it up and I'm gonna be bankrupt." He joked knowing good and well that's not true.

"I've seen your bank balance and you know that's far from the truth but this is for Sarah's birthday! Don't tell her though, it's a surprise!" I clapped excitedly pushing him off me so I could finish the purchase.

"You're giving me gold digger vibes babe.. but that's nice I'm glad you were able to make a friend to make your days here more bearable." He said jokingly.

"Maybe I am.." I giggled softly closing his laptop and setting it aside. "While we're here I wanted to ask you something. Aidens tutor said that he's be doing excellent and he's really far ahead of the kids his age. So I just wanted to know if we can take him somewhere as a reward?" I asked playing in his hair.

"Anything you want you will have my love. I agree he's doing amazing and he's gotten so much bigger!" He reply chuckling a bit.

"I know! My little baby's growing up so fast. Next thing I know he'll be leaving me all alone to start his own life." I sighed deeply wiping a tear out of my eyes.
