I really shouldn't have underestimated her, especially due to looks. She's courageous and unlike the other girls I've met, she doesn't seem that interested and more... down to earth.
I want to know more about her, get to know her, but her ignorance tempers me.
She really tried to embarrass me, she did, I'm not so very happy about that, nevertheless, it left me impressed.
She's going to have to try harder than that.
This game is somewhat new to me however I'm going to win.I like tough girls... But do I like her? Will it matter if I did?
But this feeling is new to me... She makes me so confused, why do I have the urge to-
Forget it, and leave it at that.
Or perhaps see where it leads you...I third person's pov I
Marinette and Alya had a bond for the entire lunch period talking to each other.
Discussing the most simple things in them such as their favorite food and colour and animal. Even that had led them to tell each other stories about their past and jokes.
"...then he tripped and everyone laughed." Marinette laughed.
"That pure karma. " Alya stated.
"yep, and he never did it again. " she smiled.
"there are more people in this world you should teach a lesson to, ahem. " Alya coughed while he lips formed a straight line while looking at the floor to signing a hint.
"if you're talking about Adrien, I don't really abide. " Marinette said.
"how come? " Alya asked.
"What that boy did was purely out of no good, no purpose or excuse behind it, however, bullying has a serious matter, it could be because of a past, his past, of course we wouldn't know what his true. intentions are, whether it's purely for entertainment or just from past trauma that led to his actions today. " Marinette explained.
"Doing that, I feel, would only make things worse, it's best, when the time comes to sort things out with him, communicate. " she ended off with a smile.
"You have a heart of gold, Mari. I'm happy to have met someone like you." Alya hugged Marinette and smiled.
It was true, Marinette is known to be the kind hearted one.
A full heart of gold but never mistaken her for someone to take harsh things lightly towards her. She will speak of the matter however...
She still deeply cares about them. When the bell rang Mari forgot to use the bathroom.
"Oh shoot Alya I will meet you at class I need to use the rest room! " Mari told Alya.
"Alright sure see you there!" But what Marinette hadn't known was that Adrien for most of the lunch period was listening and staring at her.

Marinette, a lot of understanding. The only person, really that understands me is or rather... was, my mother.
I stood up at awe when she left to use the bathroom.
The feeling I had before started growing on me, I can't tell whether I loved or hated it. It was a mix of both, something I can't explain.
Is this what it felt? Is this what it felt like to be in love? This happened maybe just a little to quick, but how?
And... why?
It's fine, I guess, I have one reason, her understanding and lack of judgement along with kindness.
She seems so down to earth.
What do I do? I don't know a thing about love. How do I express my way of loving. What's my love language? And how would I know what it is?
I stopped when I saw Mari coming back out of the bathroom.
I hid by the bench so she wouldn't see me but she didn't go back to class.Instead I saw her walking around, observing her surroundings.
Then, a dog, that usually strays on these grounds approached her and she knelt down to him and petted him with joy and laughter.
She looked genuinely happy, maybe I can do something that'll maybe lead her to talk and to be with me.
I took out my phone and recorded her actions.
