chapter 16- first ending

I marinette's pov I
Mhm, hmm...

I slowly get up and rub my eyes to get a better view at my surroundings before huffing, slouching for comfort.

I look to my left and see Adrien, immediately I remember last night, the way he looked... the way he looked at me. 

I really love him like that, don't I?

It's so funny.

I then focus on his resting face, he looks so peaceful, I really wanna kiss him; I'll let him sleep.

I get up from the bed carefully, not wanting to wake him up and head to the kitchen.

I furrowed my eyebrows, where'd they go?

"Alya? Nino?" I whisper-yelled for their attention but didn't receive a reply.

I looked at the counter and saw a letter and picked it up.

"Hey Mari, Nino and I decided to stay at my place after you two fell asleep! Hope you guys have fun! We'll talk later! Take care. " - Alya

Awh, I was hoping we could spend the day together, but that's alright... which reminds me, I should probably get my phone.

I spot my body purse and walk up to it before unzipping it, then I noticed a business card and looked at it in curiosity.

What's this for?

"Esther Café"

I widened my eyes, omg! That's right, I nearly forgot about them.

I was thinking about making breakfast but now, I have the perfect place to go.

I cheekily smiled before jumping my way back to my room.

"ADRIEN!" I called out before jumping on him receiving a grunt.

"Yes, princess? Where's this energy coming from so early in the morning?" he asked while caressing my back.

"It's not that early, It's ten in the afternoon also, I think we should pay a visit to a certain café for breakfast this morning, wouldn't you agree?" I played with my eyebrows.

"Sounds great." he smiled at me.

"But it's going to have to hold up a little, I just need some time for something." he said and I looked at him curiously.

"For what- ohm?" I was interrupted by a kiss. 

Talk about "early in the morning". 

I third person's pov I

I esther's cafe I

"Still can't believe I managed to make you fall for me so hard that you wanted to stay with me more. I didn't expect for things to come out so well after I took you." Adrien remarked before taking a forkful of his omlette.

"Haha, I know; I'm still in shock too! I just fell tired of running away because you were extremely persistent and I actually grew to take time with you, and I'm glad I did." Marinette smiled at him in which he held her hand.

"And I'm happy that you did." 

-beep beep

The couple looked at the direction of the alert coming from her purse on the left side of the table.

Marinette raised a brow in curiosity.

"Just a second, Adrien." Marinette excused herself and Adrien nodded.

She grabbed her phone out of her purse to see the caller ID and widened her eyes before answering.

"Mom?"
