Earlier yesterday, May Chow appeared in front of a crowd of paparazzi, seemingly ready to purge a guilty conscience, but what we got instead was so much more scandalous. Instead of the 32-year-old actress confirming all of our suspicions that it was her in the leaked tape, her 22-year-old protege, Indigo Cruz, confessed to being the anonymous girl in the video.
With this new information out in the world, we here at PopCrush have been trying our best to wrap our minds around this whole situation.
We finally have more context now that Sebastian Stan's team commented on the affair early this morning. To quote the statement they released: "Last summer, Alyssa had broken off the engagement and the relationship. Sebastian was a reck and found comfort in a friend."
'Finding comfort in a friend' seems like a bit of an oversimplification but okay.
So now that we know Stan wasn't technically cheating on Carver, what are your opinions on the issue? To quote a wise man, if you have to say technically, you're already in trouble.
Carver has yet to comment.
Some theories that the tape wasn't the first time Cruz and Stan were together in a more than friends kind of way. Back in August of 2018—when Stan was a new 36 and Cruz was a crisp 21—the two were seen mingling together at an after-party which neither Chow nor Carver could attend due to the fact they were in Europe filming. Cruz was taking advantage of her legal age and was beyond tipsy. It was then reported that Stan took Cruz back to her LA home.
Could they have been in a fling under our noses this whole time?
A select few fans have been shipping #sindigo since both Cruz and Stan had a guest appearance in the hit tv show Game of Thrones where the episode eluded to their characters being romantically involved. Though we never got to see the infamous sex scene that was written in due to both being killed off at the beginning of the next episode.
But who needs a scripted sex scene when you can get the real deal?
