Stella's POV

Waking up to the sound of the blaring alarm clock, isn't very pleasant. I was so tempted to skip school today, but decided against it since the last time I skipped school my parents took my car away. So here I am parking my car in the school parking lot, which is taking forever. All the good parking spots were taken.Ugh, the struggles.

Finally, I parked my car and made my way to my locker. Passing through the hallways, I heard a lot of people calling my name. Some I ignored, others I waved back. I didn't want to be rude but I really had to get to my locker. Arriving at my locker, I see my two best friends arguing in front of my locker. Casper Jackman, the openly-gay football quarterback all-star, and Lilly Daniels, my right-hand man in cheerleading and the captain of the soccer team. I love them to death, but sometimes they can get on by nerves. This was one of them times.

Ignoring them and hoping they wouldn't notice me, I quickly entered my combinations and got my books. But just as I was about run off, a hand grabbed the back of my shirt. Peaking back behind me, I see two angry people glaring at me.

"Were you just about to run off and leave us?" Lilly questioned.

"Oh gurl, you have some nerve to see us and not even say 'hi' or 'good morning my amazing best friends who have been there for me since 3rd grade'. Bitch you barely acknowledge our presence." Casper said. There is the sassiness I know and love.

"You guys seemed like you were talking about something very serious, so as the good friend I am, I didn't want to interrupt." I told them, in a very sweet voice.

"The nerve of this gurl. Come on." Casper said as he and Lilly hooked both of my arms and dragged me to class. The bell rang yet we were taking our sweet time, knowing that since we all had math together and that the math teacher, Mr.Hunnings, was always late. Casper and Lilly were walking normal pace, which to me was very slow. So it was my turn to drag them. I wanted to get to class so that I could see her. The one girl I could never get enough of.

"Come on guys, hurry up." I whined, "Use your feet and walk faster, I feel like I'm dragging dead weight."

"Did you just call us fat?" Lilly challenged.

"No, I just don't want to be late for class." I quickly said. Knowing that the word 'fat' was a forbidden word when used against cheerleaders.

"Since when did you cared about math?" she asked.

"Since when did you asked so many questions?" Casper said, "Lilly you know that our Stella's brain isn't as evolved as we are, so she has trouble in math and she wants to be better at it."

I smacked him in the arm and hear Lilly snickering. I continued my advance toward the classroom. Its not that I'm stupid. I get A's and B's in all my other classes, it's just that math is particularly hard for me. So far I have a D average, not good for a cheerleader. I have to find some way to get a higher average. Talk to Mr. Hunnings later.

Anyways when we finally arrived at our destination. We were greeted with a bunch of 'hi' and 'hello'. My eyes wandered the classroom till I see her. Nicole Jennings. Nobody knows who she really is and she remains a complete mystery to me. But, there was something that draws me towards her.

We've met before, I don't think she remembers but I do. It was during Pre-school, I was being picked on by a bunch of boys and it was her that helped me out of it. She was my glorious knight in shining armor. I know it sounds cheesy, but in my defense I was still in Pre-school, I didn't know any better. We became best friends, but it only lasted for about a month. After that, I lost all connections with her. *sigh*

It took my a while to notice her in my freshman year. I mean, I didn't even know the kid with the hood was a girl or even had a face. Oh well, I don't care what anybody says, I'm counting this as love at first sight. But considering the only reasoning that I knew it was her was because I heard her named being called during class one time. So its more of a first love kinda thing, I guess.
