Evan scanned through the text before swiping at the translucent screen.
[ Open the shop? ]
[ Yes. ] [ No. ]
He pondered for a moment before asking the system, "Hey you. Can I open the shop some other time?"
[ Indeed, Host! The shop may be accessed at any point in time! ] The System chirped happily.
[ ... ]
A brief silence broke out.
[ WAIT A MINUTE! MY NAME IS NOT "HEY" OR "YOU!" ]
The red tinged screen popped up again, with the System's audio (voice) exclaiming angrily. The Host grinned at the System's spluttering.
"If neither of those are your name, then what should I call you?"
[ ... ]
[ Main System: Host must be Level 1 or higher to name their System. ]
'Tch. What kind of game doesn't allow its players to customize their first unlocked character...' Evan sighed quietly, ignoring the System's rants about "being able to hear loud thoughts" and "not being a character."
He organized his thoughts as he waited for the System to calm down. After a moment of silence he spoke again, "System, what's the assigned task?"
[ Hehe! Our first task is to enter the new world and meet at least one (1) supporting or major character. ]
'Ugh. Even after rebirth there is still a need to speak to other people...'
"Send me the World Summary."
[ Hmph! This Host has no manners!- ] Before the System could nag more, the text changed.
[ Main System: Accessing World Summary:

The Host, Evan Wilson, will transfer to the World of "Lost On My Way To Your Heart." In the New World, the Host will be known as Evan Leazare, first son and illegitimate child of Duke Leazare. ]

"Yes." He sighed for the nth time.
[ World Transfer confirmed. Host will be put to sleep as the transfer is ongoing. ]
