Inori was cleaning Moriyama's desk while he's at work.

Moriyama Yoshitaka was a happy teacher by day and a depressed man by night before Inori escaped into his world again. If Inori recalled, Moriyama said something about owning a cafe so she was pretty surprised to hear that he became a teacher; after seeing what Takeuchi had to put up with during Japanese History, he still wanted to be a teacher? What happened to the Moriyama who told her about his dream?

Kasamatsu was a composer, he was able to work at home or at work so it's pretty flexible especially when he has a room full of his equipments inside.

Finally, Kise Kise Ryouta was still a model, a popular one too, and he's got himself a studio where he taught young models how to stand out from the crowd.

Inori was a little jealous how they all grown up and able to move on with their lives. She would like that too.

"Dream, huh?"

"You can tell no one was paying attention to Coach during Japanese History..." Moriyama sighed to her, "This is why I will not become a teacher."

"What do you want to do?"

"I think I'll own a cafe." Moriyama said to her, "I'll own a nice cafe where people can enjoy coffee and being with their loved ones. I won't set up wifi though, I don't want people coming in and use their laptops to type away..."

"Then..." Inori smiled at him, "We'll call it Hourglass, 'Welcome to Hourglass Cafe, please take your time~'."

"Eh, that is pretty nice! Let's make it into a reality!"

"Do you even know how to make coffee?"

"No, but I can learn it." He wanted to own a cafe but does not know how to make a coffee...

"You have a lot to learn."

"I know Inori-chan's coffee are the best." He laughed, "I can drink it every day."

"You won't be able to sleep."

"Who needs sleep when you're here?"

Those memories were really sweet, what was supposed to be a typical love story ended up into something tragic. Wait, was there really an end? Technically speaking, their love story were put onhold...

"Hm?" Inori opened his drawer and found a rectangular blue box with a light blue ribbon on it. Did someone give him a present? Judging by the wearing of the blue ribbon, it looked like it has been untied many, many times. Was it Moriyama's doing? What was inside of this box that he didn't give away?

"I'm home," Moriyama came into his bedroom straight away and he found Inori holding the blue box in her hold. He looked a little sad all of a sudden, "You found it, huh?"

"I..."

"No, it's okay, don't apologize for finding something that belongs to you."

"Belongs to me?" She doesn't remember receiving it...

"Open it."

Inori untied the blue worn out ribbon and let it fall to the floor. She opened the box to see silver necklace with a winged hourglass.

"Yoshitaka-kun..."

"I wanted to give that to you on the day of the Winter Cup..."

She would have received his gift if she survived the day of the Winter Cup's start.

"It's beautiful..." The sand inside was a nice ocean blue, her favorite color.

"I wanted to thank you for naming the cafe."

"You still remember?"

"I haven't forgotten a single thing about you. I've always waited for the day you will return to me and let me put the necklace around your neck..."

"You can still do that now..." She took the necklace out, "Someday, I will be able to receive it for sure."

"But I never made the cafe a reality..." Moriyama said.

"Would it have been a reality if I was there with you though?"

"Yes..."

"There you go..."

That 'someday' never came for them but they continued to wish for it. There hasn't been a day where they both decided not to wait and move on. They were both stubborn people after all.

"It looks beautiful..." Moriyama was happy to see the necklace he got for her to finally be at its rightful place around her neck. It took 10 years for him to see the her with the hourglass but it was worth the wait...

Inori was already in bed but Moriyama was at the desk, using his laptop. It was really late at night and majority of the tired people living around their area were already asleep.

"Inori-chan, you don't have to wait for me."

"It's okay, I like waiting for you."

"I'll try and be quick then." Moriyama smiled at her before facing the screen again.

"You're marking papers?"

"No, I'm researching..."

"Hm?"

"Kobori's death happened in Hokkaido. I was hoping we can go there and retrace his steps." Moriyama said, "I'm hoping we can bring him back."

"Of course..." Inori got up from his bed, walked over to him and hugged him from behind, "Soon everyone will be by your side again..."

"I hope so..." Inori smiled at his words and took the Time Pen and brought it up to her level.

"Yoshitaka-kun?"

"Yes?"

"I think we're missing some of the crystals inside."

"Eh?" Moriyama took hold of the pen and looked at the crystals. She was right, it was supposed to be full but two crystals were missing. "What would happen if it's gone?"

"I don't know but I don't think it is anything too worrying..."

"I hope so... Hmm...maybe I should get some sleep too." He rubbed his eyes, feeling tired from work, "Can I hold you to sleep?"

"Why would I say no to you?" She got under the covers before him and pat the spot beside her, "We'll sort everything out, okay?"

"Yeah..." Moriyama got into the covers and pulled her close to him. He can see the hourglass on her and he smiled seeing that. 'How sweet...' They're so close but so far at the same time. He needed to find a bridge to the future that can connect the two of them together...

That night, his memories of Kobori passing away in Hokkaido was replaced by him going missing...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When morning greeted them, they were greeted by a knock on the door.
Suddenly, the memory that Kobori died was replaced by him going missing in an instant...
"Moriyama..."
28 year old Moriyama was greeted by an old friend. Just like Inori, Kobori was timeless too, his face still remaining age 18...
