★13★ Cycle of never-ending fate

Moriyama and the others left Kaijou with a confused Inori. This Inori was not the Inori who lived 10 years without aging so they will have to make her comfortable with her situation as much as possible.

They went to Moriyama's apartment, hoping to plan their next move properly...

Moriyama made some coffee for her. 

"Here, you like it strong." He sat around the tea table with her, hoping she would be comfortable. 

"Thank you... So this is really the future?" 

"Yes." 

"I see..." The Time Pen is in your hands... Does it mean something happened that lead it to you?" 

"Yes. Another you came here before. She helped me save the others." Moriyama looked at the others with a confident smile and then back at her again, "If I am able to save you too, that will be the end of it. I want a happy ending with you and I in it." 

"Will you tell me all about it?" 

"Yes." 

Moriyama spent a long time telling her as much as he can remember. he told her about how she's always killed no matter how many times her Dad tried to change the timeline. It seems that her fate cannot be broken no matter what was done. It was as if it's her fate to die a painful death one way or another...

"I'm going to die no matter what...?" Unlike the previous her, this Inori was more prone to cry. Moriyama scooted over to her and pulled her into his hold. Inori cried against him, painfully crying at the fact she won't have a happy ending. 

The others looked at the pair with a sad look. It's sad that Moriyama was able to rescue them all with ease but Inori... 

"I don't want to die... I don't... Is it because I've done something wrong...?" The thought of dying scared her, she doesn't want to die! She wanted to live and have a happy life with Moriyama! 

"No, you haven't done anything wrong..." Moriyama kissed her forehead, "I'll change your fate for sure. I will break your broken fate!" He strongly promised her this because it's something he has to do no matter what. 

After a moment of comforting, Inori was ready to tell them anything that happened prior to her death. 

"I was pushed... It was Yasuda Hiro." 

"Him?!" Moriyama couldn't believe what she was saying! "That very quiet guy?!" Moriyama ran to his room so he can get the year book out. He quickly went to the page where it showed the classmates from his classroom. 

Yasuda Hiro has always been the wallflower of the class. He was almost like a more upgraded version of Kuroko Tetsuya because students often walk past him without a single care in the world. He's a very quiet guy with average grades, nothing about him stood out to anyone at all. 

Moriyama found it hard to stomach the fact that this quiet guy with normal looks that clearly screamed 'harmless' was the real culprit the whole time! Why would he do such a thing?! Why would hurt Inori? 

Kasamatsu looked over Moriyama's shoulder, "This guy? Seriously, Tokihime?" 

"I am sure of it. Before I fell, I scratched him very hard..." She showed the others right hand's fingers and her nails has traces of blood that did not belong to her. 

"Now that we have the person, shouldn't we warn the past you?" Kobori suggested. 

"That is a great idea..." Moriyama grabbed some notes and he quickly wrote something.
