37. Burning From Inside😣

Sitting in her room, Meera was waiting for Abhimaan. It has started to rain outside and Meera couldn't help the fear building inside her.

Abhimaan took someone's life!!!! Abhimaan killed someone!!!😰

Meera was hell scared. Meera was crying. Meera was terrified. Meera was what not.

She wasn't crying about the fact that Abhimaan killed Deshmukh...........because she knew that man was a criminal and the weight of his sins were way too much for him to survive few more days. He had to die some day.

Meera was crying because the hands which got red by his blood were of Abhimaan.🥺

She also had one thing in her mind which was bothering her very much. The bullet didn't harm Gaurvi, Naman took it on himself. So Abhimaan could have simply punished Deshmukh like they do in business world by bankrupting or the other ways. The rage Abhimaan showed towards this matter was something Meera couldn't understand. Not only Meera but the whole family couldn,t understand.

Meera checked the time. Almost 2. Abhimaan still hasn't returned and Meera knew that the reason behind it was what she did in the hall, few hours ago.😞

Flashback

Meera stared at the gun in Abhimaan's hand as he stood on the main door. Abhimaan started walking towards her. 

Padmini stared at the gun in his son's hand and told the other children 'Tum sab apne apne kamre mein jao!' They nodded and went to their respective rooms.

When he was just few steps away from Meera, she asked him in a scared tone 'Kya aapne Vyomesh Deshmukh ki jaan li hai?'

Abhimaan stared in her eyes blankly and didn't respond. Bade Hukum stared at his both children with pity. He knew very well where this was going.

 Meera held him by his arms and asked loudly 'Haan yaan Na?!'

'Haan.' Abhimaan said firmly and Meera left his arms. She was looking in his eyes with shock and couldn't find the man she loved. 

Abhimaan could see how much scared Meera was because she was shivering. Abhimaan tried to touch her but she backed away saying in a low tone 'Aap mere Abhimaan nahi ho!'

Meera held her head to control her panic attack. 

'Meera mai tumhara hi Abhimaan hoon.' Abhimaan said while trying to reach her but she jerked his hand away. 'Mere Abhimaan KAATIL NAHI HAIN!' she shouted at him.

She turned and ran away from him. But Abhimaan didn't miss his fear in those eyes, in which he was habitual of seeing love for him. 

Flashback ends

Meera couldn't control her panic at that time. But she has to tell him that she doesn't think of him like that. She has to tell him that he is not at all a murderer for her. He is still her Abhimaan.

Meera wiped her tears and went out of her room.
