"Vee, here is your breakfast! How was your first day, my dear?", her mom, Hilary, asked.
Vee doesn't say a word. She left the door without saying goodbye.
While she is walking in the campus, she heard someone calling out her name.
"Vee, good day!! I have something to ask you. Do you have time after school? We have a private study group at Cafe' Deluna. For thrice a week. You know, the one at the corner of the Oat street. I wanna ask you to come & join us. It would be fun. Trust me,
the cupcake & espresso from Deluna are the best things in town.", Bella smiled.
"Sure? Why not!! I'm in!", Vee replied.
"Bingo! Shall I pick you up?," Bella asked.
"No!No! I know that place! I will come by myself! See you there,Bella! Thanks for inviting me," Vee replied.
Vee must admit one thing that the beauty of the evening of Cape Town really touches her heart.
It is so dreamy, warm & cozy that made even her miserable mind to be calm.
Vee put on her sweatshirt with a sticker "she moved on". She chose her pink & gray sneaker for the evening walk.
"Deluna Cafe'!"
When she saw the sign hanging from the building, she just lost in her thoughts.
Coffee?? Him??
No,no,no!
She must not think about that.
She pulled the door and entered the cafe'.
It is somehow quiet & nice palace. Not very modernized, yet beautiful in its ways.
She was looking for her friend, Bella.
May be she doesn't arrive yet.
She sat on the coach near the dim light table and was checking on the menu.
"Excuse me, Madam! Have you moved on?," someone is asking.
Suddenly, she turned her head up.
A young boy, about her age, with brown eyes smiled at her with his sweet smile.
"You must be Veronica, hopefully! Welcome", he said.
"Sorry... I I don't.....," Vee noticed her heart beats.
"Umm.. sorry! I haven't introduce myself yet. I'm Clark. One of the students from private group study. Bella called me she gonna late. So, she asked me to accompany you first. I noticed you as soon as I came in cause you looks so obvious, young sweet girl!", he said.
Vee smiled back involuntarily.
"Hello, sorry if I was rude,too! I'm Veronica. Happy to join the team", Vee said.

They made a few conversations.
About 15 minutes later, Bella arrived.
It was strange for Veronica that she did have some feelings, some excitement after seeing Clark. That feelings she once had only with William, her first love.
She can't deny that Clark really is a handsome & charming boy.
Is it wrong to feel that way???
The night is somehow dreamy.
When Vee lies on her bed & thinking....
"TikTok" "new message arrived.
She picks up her phone.
On the Lock Screen...

Or...
