That night, Vee drifted into a deep sleep, her mind swirling with the events of the day. As she slept, her thoughts took her back to a time before the move, to memories of her ex-boyfriend, William.

In her dream, Vee found herself walking along a familiar beach, the sun setting in the distance. The sky was painted with hues of orange and pink, casting a warm glow over everything. She felt a sense of nostalgia as she recognized the place where she and Jake used to spend their weekends.

Suddenly, she saw William standing by the water's edge, his silhouette outlined against the setting sun. He turned and smiled at her, the same smile that had once made her heart race. Vee felt a mix of emotions—happiness, sadness, and a longing for the past.

"Hey, Vee," William said, his voice gentle and familiar. "It's been a while."

"Yeah, it has," Vee replied, walking towards him. "I didn't expect to see you here."

"I've missed you," William said, his eyes reflecting the sincerity of his words. "I know things ended badly, but I still think about you."

Vee felt a lump in her throat. "I miss you too, William. But things are different now. I've moved to a new place, started a new life."

"I know," William said, looking down at the sand. "I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for everything. I hope you're happy."

"Thank you," Vee said, feeling a sense of closure. "I hope you're happy too."

As they stood there, the waves gently lapping at their feet, Vee felt a weight lift off her shoulders. She realized that she had been holding onto the past, but now it was time to let go and embrace her new life.

The dream began to fade, and Vee woke up with a sense of clarity. She knew that moving on was never easy, but it was necessary. She had new friends, new opportunities, and a new chapter waiting to be written.

With a renewed sense of purpose, Vee got out of bed and prepared for the day ahead. She was ready to face whatever challenges came her way, knowing that she had the strength to overcome them.
