The endless reflections of himself certainly startled Beomgyu. "Cool, huh?" Ryujin beamed, as if she was an expert in the art of jumping down strange wells, despite only going through this once.

"What is this?" He breathlessly asked, spinning around to get a better look at the mirrors, which was useless, since they all displayed the same thing.

"Good question," Ryujin sighed, "I don't know either"

She yanked out that shard of glass that was previously embedded in her shoulder. "I wonder if this does anything," she mused.

"Try slapping it on the wall," Beomgyu helpfully suggested. Ryujin gave him an exasperated look.

But it actually worked.

The same thing happened, the glass shattering and reforming into different shapes as the ground vanished before they fell endlessly, Beomgyu screaming expletives and Dallie not having a good time.

They lost consciousness halfway through the fall, and when they did come to, the mirror shards were zipping down alongside them, shining like precious gems. Ryujin wondered if she could attempt to do the same thing she did the last time, but her numb fingers weren't in the mood to fumble for her dagger.

But she didn't have to do anything. The glass suddenly stopped, but they continued moving down, and the glass simply gleamed, as if bading them goodbye.

And they hit the hard ground, darkness enveloping them, as they struggled to grasp their bearing. "What the hell Ryujin," Beomgyu muttered, confused and dazed.

"Wait, wait, it gets better," Ryujin said as she struggled to sit up. And it did get better, if better meant being swept up by the same strong gust of wind that lifted them up and out.

"That was nice," Ryujin sighed, as she drank in the sights and scents of the royal garden. "Home sweet home."

"Where is this?" Beomgyu squeaked out, eyeing everything nervously as if something was about to pounce out and devour him, the bright lights and overwhelming colours a lot to handle at one shot.

"Relax," Ryujin soothed, "You're safe. Welcome to my kingdom."
