"Are you ready girls?" My mom excitedly asked.
"Completely, ready for fun, of course." Ally said with a chuckle that went to laughter.
We had to ride in the car for approximately an hour, which was great because Ally and I slept all the way.
The house was filled with wooden furniture that looked old but cool. Our room had two beds, one on each window, and a big couch with a coffee table. The room also had a small second floor since the roof was very high. The stairs that led to it where as old as the house, the second floor was just a corner with a bean bag, a lamp, and a tiny table. Memories of me reading here and hiding came flooding my mind. Good times, when life was much more simpler. Ally decided to take the bed to the left leaving me woth the one on the right. The Parksons came in a car behind us, so they would be here any minute.
I fell on my bed hoping Lucas was struck by a lightning and couldn't come, but I started listening a car park outside and knew my plan didn't work.
"Such a view, I just love coming here." Ally never stops saying how lucky I am to have this house.
"Yeah, sometimes I would hide so that my parents wouldn't take me back to our house." Ah, those times.
"Maybe we could go on the kayak to the other side of the lake, you always find pretty rocks there."

It's true, since I came here first when I was little I started collecting pretty rocks. I had a big collection by now, but it's always nice to keep looking. I nodded to her request and went to find some shorts to go.
When we were ready, we went downstairs and told everyone we were leaving. Everyone but Lucas ,of course.
It was a sunny day with a good temperature, everything perfect. Ally and I took the kayak to the borders of the lake and started getting ready. We put our lifesavers, which we both hate, and grabbed the oars. The we sailed into the sun. I wish we did, but we just sailed to the other side of the lake and walked some time through the forest. This place was the one I enjoyed, the smell of pines and the breeze with the tunes of birds through the morning.

"Earth calling Taylor, shh shh, I think we found life Houston, bring some backup." Ally can be funny in many different ways.
"Alright, what's wrong?" I said pulling my tongue out.
"It's time for lunch and I need to pee." Ugh, not again.
"Look around Ally, you see a forest, f-o-r-e-s-t, you can go behind a tree, that is a..."
"AN unsanitary solution, which I'm not gonna do." She said while she shook her head.
"But I don't want to go, besides this is the only place Lucas won't intrude." Her expression changed, my observation was working, she actually was considering staying here.
"Nope, I WILL go you like it or not. If you want to stay, then stay here."

Oh boy, this was a huge mistake. I was hungry like I had never been. The fact that I was alone in a forest with no phone no communication made me feel like a caveman. Ally promised to fetch me after having lunch, but she was taking her time. She probably got distracted with Lucas, because she does tolerate him. The sun would start coming down and I was forgotten in a lonely forest. Until I remembered the treehouse my dad and I built. I started walking around looking for the treehouse and never found it. But now I found myself in a bigger problem. If you thought this, then, ding ding ding! I'm lost. I never went this far into the forest, and now the sun was literary going down. I was scared, cold, and the worst, hungry. Ally must be looking for me, so as my parents. And the only thing to do that came to my mind, was sing. I always sing when I have a problem, it makes everything easier. I just sat under a tree, closed my eyes and started:

"I let you see the parts of me that weren't all that pretty, and with every touch you fixed them.
Now you've been talking in your sleep, oh oh. Things you never say to me, oh oh. Tell me that you've had enough, of our love, our love.
Just give me a reason just a little bit's enough. Just a second, we are not broken, just bent. It's in the stars, it's been written in the scars of our hearts. We're not broken, just bent. And we can learn to love again." Just give me a reason, by Pink

I heard a lightning and froze, I would die rusted by a tree struck by lightning! That was when I saw a flashlight and stood up to watch the least person I thought I would see.
"Taylor?! You are here! Where did you go? We looked for you everywhere, I was so worried!" He tied me in a hug and I just felt secure for the first time in the day. Until a drop fell on my cheek, then another followed, and a thousand.
"Let's go back, it's starting to rain." I said, but it was too late. Rain was now becoming into a storm.
He went to get an umbrella, and a backpack. He gave me the umbrella and pulled one of those tiny tents for emergencies. He made it and immediately we settled below it.
"Taylor everyone was looking for you, we came here 5 or more times with your dad looking for you." I didn't think that I had been happier to see him before.

We had to cuttle because Lucas said that I would get a cold, which he was right. The rain kept getting stronger, I started getting comfortable with Lucas's arm around me. Slowly I got tired, but I could hear the faint rain's noise.
"I am so sorry this has to happen to you, I never thought I could be that worried. Oh Taylor, what would have I done if we never found you." Lucas did care about me.
Before I knew it I had collapsed on his arm and my head now resting in his chest.

The next morning I woke up to see a sunny morning and a sleeping Lucas snoring like it's the end of the world. I stood up and looked around. By judging my clothes I knew my face was a mess, not to speak about my hair. My parents must have been worried for me and Lucas, who had disappeared in the middle of the night. I walked to the edge of the lake and felt the water through my hands, I had to wake Lucas before my dad would buy a boat and look for us with an army of worries. I turned around to see that Lucas was gone. Why would he leave me here without saying a word? I started mumbling like I always do when I'm desperate and angry. Where could he have gone without anything and just like that, maybe he went to pee behind a tr-

"Good morning Taylor, are you feeling better?"
"Crap Lucas! You scared the heck out of me, but good morning. Thanks for asking, yes I do."
"You wouldn't think I would leave you here, would you? I just went to pee, besides you left me too." True.
"Well, can we go back? Our parents must be really worried, and you left without notice."
"Sure, let's go. But don't tell my mom that I came here in the middle of the night, or she won't stop bombarding me with questions. Just say I came here in the early morning and found you, then we went back." I winked at him and we left.

When we got back to the house my mom bombarded ME with questions. My dad had big bags under his eyes, but Ally was the worst. She still had yesterday's clothes, her face and hair were messy, and she held a tired and worried posture. As soon as we had entered the house, Ally had almost tackled me with a hug and never left my side since then.

The adults spent the day on the living room and we stayed on the porch. Lucas, Ally, and I had the greatest time on our lives. Ally had this game like truth or dare, but with cool dares and no truths. Lucas had to lick a tree leaf and the chew it. Ally had to jump from the roof into a pile of leaves Lucas and I did. I had to get a cup of water from the lake and drink some of it. It was a really nice and fun day, unlike the one behind.

"So how did the lake weekend go?" Madison asked while Ally and I exchanged a look.
"It went, well, I guess." I said just ruining the moment of not telling them about my incident.
"Well? What happened?" Ashley asked. Oh great, story time!
"Ally and I decided to go to the other side of the lake, but I didn't want to go back, so I stayed there while Ally had lunch and then came back for me. Ally took her time, and I got bored, so I started walking around and got lost. The sun went down and I was alone lost in the forest." Both Madison's and Ashley's faces changed to worry.
"What did you do?" Both of them said in unison.
"I stayed the night there and the next morning Lucas went and found me."
"Who is Lucas?" Whoopsies, another mistake. I'm on fire today!
"He is the son of my parent's friends who went with us."

Suddenly we heard screams and noise from the hall's doors. I could hear the crowd scream Luke's name and someone else's. But I could not recognize the name. It was probably a fight, that would end as soon as principal Sanders would hear the noise. But the fight was bigger, more people joined the crowd. We all got closer to see who it was against Luke, but he had been punching the other guy for a long time.

"Get up right now." We heard her voice boom through the hall. Luke immediately stopped punching the other guy and stood up. He looked scared but at the same time mindless.
"You are coming with me, now." Luke nodded. Principal Sanders stared at the other guy and just said,
"Who started this?" Everyone looked at Luke, who was now playing with his chain. He would always cary a chain and play with it, like it made him more popular or something.
"I swear it was me," Principal Sanders's face changed to surprise," if you want to punish him, go along, but I swear it was me." Everyone's faces looked surprised, some angry, and some just pale.
"Then let's go."

Everyone's attention went now to the guy on the floor. He looked familiar, but not like Dani, or Jason. Oh wait, it looked like... Spencer?
